Ok so, I tried the death effect glitch on the Infested Bear, and found that the eggs went away BUT the diseased green skulls cloud DOES infact stay. I think the reason why is that after death the eggs can be removed. Im off to see if other diseased pets keep their green cloud of death after death.

I was hoping they would stay , I liked them with the eggs

Oh ugh, I'm with Darknez on this one... It's awesome that they keep the poison cloud though! Is that also one of those "until pet/hunter death" looks or is it permanent?

I would love to keep the spider eggs on as well. In the meantime I did go to retame this bear on Spiders in order to preserve the buff text 'Feeding the Brood' (or something along those lines).

Sorry I released him a few mins after I got him I dont really like the bears in this game and I thought sense I did the death glitch it would stay

The disease cloud goes away whenever the pet dies, it isn't permanent like the oil slicked wolf or Lone Hunter. However, there is a bear you can tame with a permanent pink glow effect in Darkshore named the "Consumed Thistle Bear".
