Guesses on the next expansion?

From the way the story is unfolding, this is what I envision for the next expansion. No new races at all. I think the bad blood between Garrosh and the trolls, undead, and the tauren will evolve into a full blown civil war. I also get the sneaky feeling that the blood elves are ready to leave the horde. Not sure of the storyline on alliance side yet but thinking that maybe in the next x-pac one of the alli races switches sides as do the blood elves. Of course complete mayhem would occur as seemingly horde fights horde and alliance fights alliance as well as each other with the final ending coming with a huge boss fight where the champions (us) finally succeed in helping Thrall regain his throne. Once there both sides accept the new order and things go back to normal. Maybe. Not quite sure how alliance would work into that but give me time. At any rate I see a split in the horde. Your thoughts on what you see or would like to see?

Blizzard wouldn't split up the horde, nor would they move any races across factions. They wouldn't like forcing friends away from each other.

I'd rather see the emerald dream than have to leave my mates. I can't see bloodelves teaming up with night elves ever.

You have to remember that Blizzard has a policy of putting gameplay first, storyline second. Anything that would severely affect gameplay, like splitting up the factions, they're not going to do, regardless of lore. Think about it -- guilds would be split up, friendships lost or made all the more difficult, and for what gain? Blizzard won't do that to us.
To get with your original question, what do I think will happen in a future expansion? Well, I think maybe Thousand Needles and Vashj'ir are "experiement" zones, maybe leading to more water-based areas in the future. That, and the fact that Queen Azshara was originally supposed to play a major part in Cataclysm, but that has been removed, leads me to believe that Blizzard might want to make her the Big Bad of a future expansion. Maybe Naga (Horde) and Murlocs (Alliance) might be possibilities for future playable races.
For now, I'm just going to enjoy the expansion we've just been given. I saw my CE sitting innocently in the back room at work the other day, as well as stacks of regular Cataclysms. I can't wait!

Unless Blizzard gets VERY negative feedback on Vashjir and how annoying it is (it is, especially for a hunter because of the underwater evade), they would do South Seas next, as the marine plots seem to be quite unfinished right now - and I don't think there is enough place for Azshara as a raid boss in Cata. And also Blizzard would have to make side-villains for Azshara, for Naga alone would quickly bore people to death. Xavius and one Emerald Dream zone to silence the neverending clamoring for it?

Hunter pets in Vashjir have (ot at least had) a nasty bug with evade underwater. If your pet moved after engaging a mob, it lost aggro, and mob evaded, healing to full. Then your pet returns to you, mob follows you, pet attacks him again... and repeat until you managed to kill it somehow.

I am almost sure something big will happen with the horde. Garrosh as the new Warchief makes plenty of mistakes, and i bet he will do more, and Sylvannas started doing very bad things too, there will be probably a battle. one of these leaders will be kicked out, and slain. The Horde won't crash but something big is happening inside the Horde. Maybe in the next expansion there will be some storyline between Garrosh and Sylvannas, if not in Cata.
About the other leaders of the Horde, I think they will keep the Horde together in the big conflict between Garrosh and Sylvannas. I am Horde myself and I find that it is not fair we the Horde get much more in faction lore and the Alliance barely gets.

It seems that everybody is painting Sylvanas as the villain but don't forget; Garrosh has already killed Cairn and tried to install Magtha in his place. Pretty sure the tauren aren't his big supporters. Vol'jin has out and out told Garrosh that one dark night his arrow would find the false warchief's heart so no love lost with the trolls either. Not quite sure how he'll do it but pretty sure he'll piss off the goblins and blood elves too. Maybe by singing "Short People" and cracking gay jokes.

I actually think Emerald Dream is going to play a part soon. Then, Underwater, likely demons again and Bolvar will probably show up soon too. And Infinite might get their own expansion as well.

Hmm... The last part is intriguing. Those zonenames mean that Argus still exists! That means that it wasn't destroyed by demonic magic, like has been thought!

Isn't Xoroth a demon realm? I seem to recall killing a whole bunch of Xorothian demons while questing in Felwood and Winterspring the other day. And wasn't the warlock epic mount quest for summoning a Xorothian Dreadsteed?

Wolfenhold. Makes you think worgen. Look at the next zone; Xorothian Plains. And worgen came from another dimension, and they were glad to help against the Burning Legion cause they were fighting against "The Lord of Emerald Flame" or something. Or, Burning Legion.
So, at the point planned, they were all for sticking to their lore when it came to worgen.
...Have we already came to this conclusion and am I just sounding silly...?

Sadly worgen now are just druids or some bull. Does this mean we can kick the Draenei back to there own home and make them leave OL?

That list was fake. Its original creator, in the original thread on Allakhazam, admitted it after the announcement of Cataclysm.

And that's completely wrong. Magatha poisoned Garrosh's blade so he one-shotted him during an honourable duel. Garrosh went emo again over the whole ordeal, and then Magatha took over Thunder Bluff forcibly. When Baine managed to survive and tell everybody about what's going on, Garrosh led a strike force to retake Thunder Bluff. Baine then banished Magatha, who's now in Thousand Needles. Read "the Shattering".

I'm not sure, entirely, but We have several options:
1) The Emerald Dream, obviously.
2) Queen Azshara and the Naga, This could maybe lead to addition/expansion on OL as well, since there is a large Naga force there.
3) Any of the remaining Old Gods...
4) Possible deeper look into the Silithid/Nerubian/Qiraji background
5) Ancient Guardians/War of the Ancients theme.
6) Argus
7) Reviving/Resurrecting Draenor
8) Titans and their story
9) many more that I might be forgetting...
Granted, some of these, if not many of these could be tied into eachother, such as the ED and War of The Ancients, but these are the possibilities I could think of.
As for the next races, I doubt we'll get them this coming expac, as Blizz has stated they wish to do a "Race-Hero Class-Race-Hero Class" system, where it alternates between the two every expansion. So my money is on a Hero Class in the next expac.
