well in cataclysum i know many of us are wondering what new pets we'll get my guess is some old untameable one that were never tameable

i was also wondering if maybe that cataclysum wrected underwater life forceing it to live on land then we can probably have some fish out of the water to tmae. my thoughts for this was simply because ive always wanted to tame a thresher anyways my list of what i think will become tameable and thier abilitys if they do

basilisk: maybe might become a crocolisk not not it will have an ability to turn people to stone/crystal whatever blizz puts for it

clefthoof: might become part of the rino family ability: thundering stomp???

diemetradon: might become part of the crocolisk family if not abilty: lash

elekk: might become a new familiy althogether but since azeroth is being affected might not be ability: rampage

frenzy: probably not

giraffe: most likely because of barrens being affected ability: sharp kick

gryphon: maybe ability: swipe

hippogryph: maybe ability: flying charge

hydra: maybe ability: frostbolt

kodo: maybe might also become part of the rino familiy ability: impale

mana myrm: probably not because most exsit in outlands ability: manabolt

pterrordax: maybe ability: scream

shark: probably not unless my theroy is correct

stag: maybe ability: flurry

talbuk: probablt not because it lives in outlands and not azeroth

thunder lizard: maybe might laso become a type of rino ability: thundercharge

tripod: probably not because is not in azeroth ability: mind control

wyvern: maybe ability: toxic slash

zhrvra: i heard a rumor that this will become tameable so who knows ability: purge

and that's my guess what would happen in cataclysum sense they seem to be only releaseing hidden and locked content

hm, i don't think the idea that because it's not based in azeroth it can't be tamed is a valid one. theres plenty of tamable pets that are found only in outland as it is now. new worgen and goblin hunters, not to mention any new human, undead, etc will still be leveling up through outland as well

This would go good in the New Expansion Theorycrafting thread, which was made for people to share ideas about the new expansion.

I'm betting on the new 'monkey' skin previewed in the Goblin starting zone. They're different from the gorilla's. But.. will either be added to the gorilla family or get their own. Goblins can be hunters after all.
