I notice occasionally people posting here are looking for Grunter. Well apparently no one on my server wants this pretty pig. He spawned right in front of my mage in Blasted Lands and I quickly did a /who to see who was in the area, 5 hunters were there, I messaged each and no one wanted him. I even tried to /followme to get a troll hunter to come over here and look to tame him but the hunter just insisted on attacking me sigh. So I killed the hunter, then killed Grunter since no one wanted him.

Also I notice that when you kill a rare spawn they give you a quest-worth of exp or so. I got around 6-7k exp for killing Grunter and I'm wondering if maybe even the new pets in the Cata area are going to do this as well? I mean it's an extra quest worth of exp and all D:

I was wondering through Blasted Lands not even remembering about Grunter and I pretty much tripped over him so I thought "meh why not" and have grown to love him

I found him while on my baby pally today. Nobody wanted him, so I just left him. Hopefully another hunter will come along and find him (yeah... or more likely he's dead and looted....).

His new skin is ugly, IMO.

His new skin makes sense [and I love him on Lime]- all the Ashmane boars turn into Felboars after XX damage is done. Before the shattering their were felboars everywhere.

Besides Grunter is a vain and jealous creature, he wants to be rare and unique.

And this seems to support my theory of Grunter having a shorter respawn time now, than pre-shattering. Mean how many people can say they tripped over Grunter twice in less than a 24 hour period. And everyone else is tripping over the boar and either ganking him [mean come on from their stand point blasted rares have a 80-100% chance to drop a perfect sphere!] or taming him.

I mean I remember the Grunter threads made before and everyone was going thru hell in a handbasket on fire while a tonedeaf cat serenaded them with twilight to get him.

Haha weird I just logged back in looked up and Spiteflayer was flying overhead. So once again I did a /who and there was one hunter there and he came over and tamed him.

I found him the last day of old world... I felt lucky cause 3 mins later a mage came by and could of killed him
