For me the only part that made me stick with the Alliance was my love for the Gnomish race. Now with my Goblin experience, The Goblins have become my new favorite class and thus I feel no more for the Alliance and I do not think I will seriously play Alliance anymore.

What pushed me over the edge was how ugly the Worgen models are I think. I think they're just dumb dumb dumbie heads.

Thank you for reading whats in my head, Whats awesome in the Goblin questline is how to ally yourself with the Orcs (wont say anything else). Made me really want to /yell Lok'tar ogar!

Well to be fair to the Op, perhaps he/she meant female worgen? I mean I was going to roll one originally as while the alpha was a bit derpy vixen fox face, I didn't mind it...

But the current model looks like a Femboy werewolf that's a recovering meth addict gone cold turkey. Unless I can find a decent face just urg.

The males are mostly alright. Outside of the sniffing. And the god awful mr Hyde on crack loping gate

Mainly the females are hideous. the males are awkward and lurky and "ugly", reminds me of older troll models.

I never swore allegiance for the "alliance", so you cant quite say Benedict Arnold. I just was on it originally since my friend was.

The females are horrible. It looks like they took peoples' great ideas, ate them, and pooped them out on a 3-d model. They're awful. I hate to say it, but this has almost ruined the expansion for me. I had this RP story in mind. I was FINALLY going to have a vicious-looking female warrior. Instead, they give me an inbred chihuahua. They're pathetic. I'm no developer or designer, mind you, but I think someone out there could have done something a lot better with the resources and money that Blizz had at their disposal. It's pathetic.

I apologize to those of you that like the female worgen, if I offend. But for me, I feel so disgusted and disappointed right now.

Just for poops and giggles, here's what I did in MS Paint. Perfect? No. Will everyone (or anyone) like it? No. But it's PAINT. And I like to think it looks a lot better than that swill we've been given.

I love the females and really, it astounds me at how much bashing there is. Yes, it's BASHING. There's nothing constructive about it. All I've read, no offense, is all bashing at how omgugly it is because it's not a supermodel like the blood elves. I'm sorry but the whole "QQ I'm taking my toys and leaving the alliance cause the worgen arent hot models!" is getting very old, very fast. Can we stop with the bashing already? We already got like three topics about it.

It's not that they don't look like supermodels, it's that they TRY, and FAIL. With those eyes (for example, plenty of other faults with the model) it looks like "ugly monster plays dress up". But fine, we're apparently not allowed to voice our opinions, but you yours.

Thats a matter of opinion, Saturo. A lot of us LIKE the eyes. It gives a feminine feel to it. I don't think she looks like an ugly monster.

I never once said you couldn't but I am saying the dead horse, it's beaten. Let those of us who do like them enjoy them. If you dont like them, then dont roll one. It's that easy. There doesnt need to be 50 topics by the same people saying they hate them so much.

Blizzard did what we wants. Half of us wanted our vixens. Half wanted something feral. We QQ'd for the longest time. Blizzard combined the two, to satisfy both tastes. What do we do? Those who realize Blizz did a good job are content. Those who didn't get their way completely seem to be complaining some more.

I want to enjoy my worgen without having to come to my favorite forum and see a dozen bashing topics.

Nobody's forcing you to read those topics. You're the one who opens them and reads them and then decides to post on them telling people to stop talking about it. If you know it's a bash topic, ignore it entirely. A great many people are disappointed with the female worgen models, myself included. I'll roll one anyway because I have a story lined up for one and I like their starting zone.

That's a pretty unfair thing to say. "Those who like them are right, those who don't like them are wrong." Why not just say it like that?

For the record, I haven't seen 50 topics about worgen female hate. I've seen maybe two (that I myself replied to). I have, however, seen a ton of "I just tamed Loque'nahak!" threads, but that's okay? I don't see the difference.

Look, you like them, and that's great for you. But unfortunately I think you are in the minority on that one. The vast majority of people (on plenty of other forums, not just this one) really dislike how these look and there is nothing wrong with venting to other like-minded people on what happens to be our favorite forum as well, not just yours.

So, I suppose I could say, "If you don't like this thread, then don't read it!", if that's the logic you apply to the female worgen situation. This is the WoW General Discussion after all, and I have not seen a wave of "I HATE WURGN FEMAYLZ RAWR" threads, so expressing our dislike on this one isn't really such a transgression.

I've said my peace. I hate the female worgen, I'm shocked Blizz released them this way when so many people disliked them before launch, and I hope they fix them. Though that is most likely not going to happen. Putting half chocolate onto half a turd doesn't make it good, just like putting half "vixen" and half "feral" didn't work on this.....in my (and many others') opinion.

Okay let's all step back a couple steps and take a deep breath. :) There's no need to argue, everyone has their own opinion.

Awesome Good-Vibe Threads > Bashing threads, IMHO. If you don't see the huge gaping in your face difference, I'm not sure what will stand out to you.

Minority? Only here, it seems. On my server, Moon Guard, everyone loves them so far and are quite happy with them. My guild loves them too. I've read the official forums and I've hardly seen the hate there. It's only here I see it flourish. The grinds your gears thread is yonder that way.

I dont think there are any probs with the male worgen at least, the female worgen got its problems as mentioned above, but what espicially annoys me is the way they run, its just seems like something between run to walk..

And about the Goblins, I agree they're awesome.

Anyhow, no point to argue about it, If enough people will tell Blizz they hate the female worgen model, maybe they'll agree to change it.

I love the female worgen xD

I actually like the general style of the female Worgen and prefer it over the style of the males. However, I can't help but recognise the on a purely technical level the male model is vastly supirior. It's just so much better made.

First, the females' face bothers be because of the mouth. From the front it looks shut, from the side it's wide open. That's not what a snarl looks like. They got it right on the males, why did they fail on the females? The snout is oddly shaped in general. Again, the males' snout is fine, what went wrong with the females? (My only problem with the eyes is that they don't glow while the males' do. I don't care if Worgen eyes glow or not, I just want it to be the same for both genders!)

Second, they have a really wonky body. The proportions are completely messed up. Their butt is square, their hips and waist too small for the upper half of the body, and the chest area is just completely off. And I'm not talking about breast size, I couldn't care less about that. But as it is, the chest area looks like two pyramids perched on a balloon. It's all much too "edgy" and, well, disproportioned.

Am I still playing one? Yes, afterall my main is a female troll so I can handle some wonky-ness. But the problem is the troll model is six years old and I shouldn't have to deal with similar problems on a brand new model. And I wouldn't have to if I played a male Worgen or either gender of the Goblins.

So yes, I am disappointed and a bit angry, because Blizzard hasn't done a good job on the female Worgen. Not for their standards, not for the other things they've done for this expansion, or even previous ones. This is not the best they can do and I do hope they will fix this model to bring up to their own standards. Not the style, but the quality, oh it's such a bad quality. ><

I'm just gonna pipe up that I'm not bashing female worgen because they 'aren't drop dead sexy' and I'm not dropping them cause 'omg not pretty they're fierce!' My first toon is a tauren. My third fave race are orcs. I make jokes about Rashika's Manlyness All the time when I play her. I mean her shoulders are bigger than male belves! She's a man with boooobs.

But when I look at Worgen I see this freak of nature; Orcs still have natural curves. Sandra showed me a full body screen of the female worgen going live and seriously it was just.. it reminded me of those male models in france I think who model womens clothing because they can get the perfect body form. IE a straight line with very little curviture.

I mean female Tauren aren't humans- but they still have curves, they still look normal. Sure you can argue they have a derpy face to an extent but don't all cows have slight derp? :(

Besides; everyone was 'bashing' the alpha models anyways. People can voice complaints and discontent about stuff I mean it's not like we're raging against the machine we're just disgruntled that's what WE, the CUSTOMERS, basically pay for.

Atleast we can all agree on one thing- atleast the furry jokes stopped thank god.

Anyways sides tbh I'm questioning about even rolling a male- and even if the female was fine, a female. THE SNIFFING.
