Taming was interrupted by healing so I got killed many toimes and finally tried to weaken the turlte before taming but it died.

I tried Core hound and speed potion but it is just too strong for a lvl 81 to tame.....

any tips oon how to tame that beast?

Get a speed pot the extra haste helps you tame faster, freeze trap + speed pot usually does the trick.

Except he's immune to freeze trap.

If you fail hit feign death, he should de aggro and you can try again.

speed pot+ the 245 haste trinket and ancient hysteria made it a easy tame he channeled twice on me and did 20k damage out of 40k

p.s I had haste food, and potion and stamina scroll.

I used potion of speed and the haste ring mentionned before. I also used the corehounds ancient hysteria before abandoning him and casting tame.

I had a fire protection enchant on my cape.

I first killed him at 1:45 pm and he spawned again 6 hours later

Aeze, I see you play with a French version, could you tell me the name of Terrorpene in French ?
It would be easier to make a /target macro ^^

all you need is around 150 fire resist and around 40k hp (easy with some buff, see topic)

Sorry about the delay. Terrorpene's name in french is terrorpene, same as english. It shows on NPC_scan using NPC number 50058

Terrorpene patrols the enire lower part of the lava lake.

My husband has just tamed him one hour ago, so I could see his name was the same. And I made my macro /target Terrorpene

So he's only got that one spawn point? And how long is his respawn timer? Any more verification for 6 hours?

I got him finally !!! Not too hard with a haste potion, and my husband's shaman put a fire resistance totem. I have 45k hp, and I went down to 21k.
He spawns in the lava, around the tower. Very small area indeed, you can check the zone (with a flying mount of course) in less than 1 minute.
I don't know if the respawn is 6 hours, anyway it is less than 24 hours for sure. My husband tamed him last night at 4am, and I tamed him at 10pm.

On my Terrorpene tame, it wasn't an elite. Is that correct? Or was it bugged or something? Oo It was as easy as any other tameable mob to me.
