I started my hunter on 24th November 2010 and 2 weeks later I am level 85 with every rare pet that I want, I haven't rushed anything and got to level 85 in a reasonable time (just got it about 2 hours ago) when I hit 80 (5 days before Cata) I set myself a task to try and tame all the spirit beasts of northrend, ashtail and krush and approx. 6 hours before cata went live I tamed my final pet on the list (loque). My goal for 85 and Cata was to tame the other 2 spirit beasts, terrorpene and jadefang. 10 Mins ago I finished the taming of Jadefang and thus completing my cata set 2 hours after I dinged 85.

I AM THE LUCKIEST HUNTER EVER!! and I mean it not once have I camped for any of these pets just a case of 'ooh I'll go check such a place for such a pet' I can't believe my luck so much that I have to keep checking my stables to make sure I aint dreaming it. I never thought for one I would get Jadefang with the pet dropping from it (called it Jadefang aswell, love that name).

I've not come here to piss you guys off who have tried and camped your hardest for some of these pets with no success I just couldn't believe my luck so much that after reading these forums for many many many months (always been a hunter/hunters pets fan) I decided to share my experience with you.

Thanks for reading I could go on and on and on about how amazed I am about so much from the last 2 weeks but I wont keep searching hunter friends!

PS~ Don't feel bad about being happy about getting a rare, even if its by luck. You nabbed it and you can celebrate

Only pet I've ever camped for was Arcturis myself, and only Ryno is upset at me, but once you get used to the awkward lick from his kitty, its not that bad...

First was ghostcrawler and like 15 minutes ago the wolf from "twilight highlands"

hehe thinking of going for Sambas and Madexx to add them to the collection even though wont really use them, I think if i find them will ask about first see if anyone else wants them before I tame them.
