Two of my new pets need names.

The first pet is my tauren hunter's new Chimaera, Nuramoc. Took a few days of logging on and off every hour to find him, but I just love him. For a name, I would like a name that is somewhat short and simple, 'though it doesn't have to be in English. For instance, that character has a gorilla named Utara, which is Brother in some language that I have forgotten the name of. Nothing silly, though, please.

Secondly, my newer hunter's pet Echeyakee. Her pets so far have been named after stone and metal things - Obelisk, her scorpid, and Ingot, her boar. I was thinking about the name Slate, but I'm not sure.. Something mineral related, a sort of stone perhaps.

Hmm, How about...MetalTand, wich is MetalTooth in swedish for Nuramoc and Måne wich is Moon in Swedish for the White cat

For Echeyakee:

Alabaster - A mineral that is commonly a white colour.
Mica - A mineral which has an occasional glittery/shiny appearance.
Parian - A type of pure-white marble which was greatly prized in ancient Greece for sculpturing.

For Nuramoc:

Faust - Roman Latin for "lucky", also German for "fist". It is also the name of a legendary man who made a pact with the devil in exchange for knowledge.
Veasna - "Good fortune; opportunity".
Porfirio - "Purple".
Volos - A god said to have ruled over/represented earth, underworld, dragons, magic, trickery, and... um... cattle. /shrug

I'm loving the name Parian for my lion!

Volos for the Nuramoc might work - that hunter IS a tauren, after all.

I named my white lion, “Tafari,” which means “he who inspires awe” in Amharic (Eastern African). Rastafarians (Ras Tafari meaning “king Tafari”) revere him as the earthly incarnation of God. http://www.behindthename.com/name/tafari

I think it’s rather fitting.
