So even though I didnt want to...I started a new hunter. A human female. The thing was I didnt like her crappy brown starter outfit. So I rolled a worgen hunter female outfit and snt it to her. Then I didnt like the crossbow. So I rolled a Night elf and sent her a bow. Now my huntress is EPIC!...ya know for a level 3

Anyone else do this?

...no way. and I totally didn't grind mats to get a blue dress made for Raydex when I was a lowbie.

Not guilty. Really.

I haven't sent myself other lowbies' gear (mostly because most of the lowbie gear never appealed to me until very recently). But, I have gone around and bought pre-made full sets sold by vendors before, just to look cool while leveling. My character will still be wearing all white gear, but it looks pretty neat and it matches.

I have also saved some lowbie weapons or gear (mostly blood elven, but I kept my troll druid's dress too) because it looked cool. :D

yes I do :D
I rolled a worgen mage and sent her money, just so she could mail her dress to my level 1 worgen druid so she could start out looking like a proper lady.
I roleplay she didn't become a druid until after meeting the night elves, so I wanted her to look a bit more ladylike first of all.

I also rolled a night elf mage and gave the dress to my daughter's night elf priest so she had the nice blue dress to start out in, and I think I'll send my dwarven shaman some other outfit as well once I roll her since I don't think her starter dress is very nice. The new mailboxes in the starter areas are a godsend, both for sending bags and for making sure your character looks the way you want him/her to right from the start :D

For Hallow's End last year, my bf wanted his blood elf priest to go trick or treating dressed as a warlock, so he made a lvl 1 Forsaken warlock, stole her dress and mailled it to his priest for her "costume".

Not quite the same thing, but close enough.

I found I paid a lot more attention to my toons' fashion sense after making my first tailor. After all, why not grind for hours and hours for 40 pieces of Felcloth if the Robe of the Void looks cool? (my 'lock still has that one sitting in her "rp" bag in her bank, and I'm not even on an rp server)

Yep, I have.

The gnome warrior's starting shoes were the perfect match to my NElf druid's tuxedo.

I don't do it with starter outfits. But I do start DKs for the sole purpose of selling off their stuff when they hit 58 (usually between 40-60g) and sending it to a low level toon. And since I love starting new toons but rarely keep them, it's usually a new toon getting the money.

I do the same.

Even if its on a server where I have an established higher level toon that's carrying a good amount of gold, instead of dipping into that toons purse for a new toon I want to play I roll a DK, rob their purse and than delete them.

I created an orc rogue for his shoes once. Then I took him behind an alley and he was never seen again.

But you didn't hear it from me.

I went around all the Horde starter areas once collecting the grey armor drops to see how they looked together. You know, things like Ragged Leather Vest.
