The terrorpene that got away

I've been camping terrorpene all day today and he just spawned for me a bit ago i went crazy poping all my things and got half way through the tame and he despawned. I was like WTF! does any1 know anthing about this? I just opened a ticket asking a gm if they know anything about it.
