I could cry

So, guildmate who's been hunting Krush for awhile finally found him. I was in SB skinning, so ran over to help him tame the elusive dino, found near the Nessingwary camp. We almost had him. We were so close, just a few seconds left on the tame. But a fear got through. . .
. . .a fear that sent us in the path of some dwarves from Nessingwary's camp.
Krush followed us into the dwarves and they attacked.
The dwarves killed Krush.
Both me and my guildmate were quite crushed by this, he'd been hunting Krush for quite awhile now.
Both of us now are praying at shrines to P. Dwag in the hopes of a quick respawn and a quick tame. A tame far from the damnable dwarves of Nessingwary.

Best of luck to you that you find him again!

aww bad luck
Hope u get him!
One of my guildies was on his hunter, and saw King Krush. Wanted to tame him, but his brother (these guys are like 30 lol), was like "NAH HES A RARE WILL HAVE SWEET LOOT" and killed him.
He's still never forgiven him, its pretty funny hearing them on vent going on about it.

Oh no!
Those silly Nesingwarys. They ARE about the big game, though. They were probably dancing with glee after that one!
Shame on them!
I feel for you, I do!
I was doing a bunch of BGs tonight, just getting honorpoints. I said "Oh look, there's Skoll...he killed me." I think he was my downfall a couple of times tonight...

You did the right thing to pay to P. Dawg at one of his shrines.
P. Dawg hears your pleas. He will aid you.

Sweet loot? For what? To be sharded? I'm sorry but I would also be sore if I had a little brother/sister or older brother/sister say that. Do they not have a lv 80? Do they not like farming heroics? I mean with love is in the air I got TWO necklaces for my paladin. Tanking AND dps for prot and ret respectively. And in a couple weeks since dinging 80, I've managed to get several nice BoE upgrades from HoS AND buy things with emblems of triumph!
The loot from the spirit beasts is now as outdated as heroism loot to be honest. The only reason they should be killed is if you need the achieve. And even then, why? I mean afaik it doesn't reward a title and the only use is for the it's over 9000 achievement which, ironically I saw someone get when we downed the SFK trio for Love is in the Air last week.
Tho to be honest we should really be sore at Blizzard for A: making SIX unique skins and ALL six are RARE ELITES that are required for a stupid achievement.
Bleh Blizzard. Bleh.

Lol its a bit hard to explain without a lot of back story, but the guy that killed him is actually my GM, and is known for being "frugal" with money, and wanting to get as much loot as possible (He has 10 X level 80's, and about 175,000 gold!). So when u know the two well, their personalitys, of course that one guy wanted to tame it, and knowing me buddy Tezza of course he wanted to kill it as he would rather get a shard off what it dropped.
Ahh doesn't make much sense explaining it on a forum, but if you knew them both you would see the funny side haha.

I actually understand, I have a friend just like that. He needs on everything. In-game I hate him...

Yeah but I have a friend who is like that, I mean she doesn't like spending money- but she doesn't risk ruining friendship for just a bit of online gold... and to be honest, if I ever had that much I wouldn't really care about a few gold earned by most likely a Dream Shard obtained via DEing the item.
While it may be funny at first and you may find it funny idk I just find it sad.

Its hard to explain over typing, unless you know them both, which I have for 3 years on wow
One brother is more passive, and a general all around nice guy, who often sits in the shadow of his brothers more wild, boisterous assertive personality.
Knowing them both, its a story that has happened around 100 times to the both of them in different situations.
The passive brother wanting something, The assertive one ruining in due to his one track mind, and everyone having a laugh over it.
In this case the passive brother going "ohh, thats a nice dinosaur, I think i'll try and tame it", only to have his flamboyant brother go "OMG a rare! SCREW taming it ima kill it, it might have good loot!" - and killing it without thinking lol.
I still giggle everytime it gets mentioned on vent
Trust me, I wouldn't have let him kill King Krush with me there. Im one of the few with the personality to stand up to my friend
Trust me, he's not a bad person by anymeans, I know the story doesn't show him in good light, but we all love him to pieces. At the time of the King Krush incident, niether of them really knew what it was.
Like that time I saw the time lost proto drake, told my guildies, and let it fly away to them going OMG OMG QUICK CHASE IT. - I wish I had known what it was

Ow, it felt like someone just stabbed me right in the gut just now. I have been wanting that darned TLPD for a long time. Every time I see it, I'm a couple minutes too late because it's a corpse on the ground. If I had just left Dalaran a couple minutes sooner.....oof.

WARNING FULL STORY INCOMING:
So I quit wow at the end of TBC for 6 months. Due to constant hassling by me guildies, and general IRL boredom I came back, and started levelling up in WOTLK. So I'm about 77/78 sitting by the stone waiting for my group to arrive for HoL normal. I see this big dragon fly past, and target it, ohh cool time lost proto drake, sounds interesting.
So I say to my guildey (Same one from the King Krush story - the greedy one lol) "Hey Tez, theres some wierd dragon here called the Time Lost Proto drake lol, any idea what it is"
He responds "OMFG ditch ur group and invite me, we have to kill it". So I explain to my group I will be back shortly, Im dropping group to kill a dragon quickly", then I invite my guildey.
By the time I had typed to my group, and got on my mount to follow it (it was vanishing into the distance when I first mentioned it in guild chat), It was gone. I couldn't find it again - probably killed or disappeared somewhere.
My guildey was furious saying "OMG MAN HOW DID U LET IT GET AWAY!". I was wondering why he was so excited over it...so I googled it.
I then cried into my pillow.

I found it while grouped with a pally friend. He had no idea what it was, so I told him o shield me when I was close to the ground. I dismount, and hit all the instant casts I have while falling, but quickly I see a bubble around myself, and I hear him over Skype "Here you go."
I fell absolutely secure until the shield wore off, and then I fell to my death. My friend managed to suvive however, and finished off the drake.
"ZOMGMOUNT!" over Skype seconds later.

It's my guildie that's hunting Krush, and so far no luck.
He thinks the last tame didn't work due to waiting a bit too long to release pet tamed for bestial wrath and the start of the tame. He's positive he'll get Krush the next time he sees the dino.
In the meantime, he's been making offerings of Nesingwary Lackey ears to P. Dwag. XD
