There I was in Thundermar getting ready to hearth to Stormwind and as I was waiting for my hearth to finish NPCscan goes off, Sambas the Beast shows up. Of course I was already in Stormwind before I knew it. I fly back but a hunter was already there and tamed it. Ironically I tamed Karoma 8 hours earlier.

Should I assume the spawn timer is 8 hours?

UPDATE: Exactly 12 Hours later I've managed to tame him!! YAY!

I'm really not sure what his timer is, but I have all weekend to try and find out. I've missed him by like... a minute, before. It was awful. I tried to gracefully congratulate the hunter, but inside I was like 'NOOOOO '

karoma and sambas timers are not related so that was just coincidence and from what ive seen and read his timer is between 12-24 hours depending on your server.

better to miss out to a tame than to watch him slaughtered we will all prevail eventually

So far, that I know of, I am the only one on horde side on Turalyon who has Sambas.
Didn't have to wait too long for him to spawn, and ironically, he did spawn while I was talking to my paladin friend named Aslan.

2 n half hours i said he couldnt possibly spawn in that time since i had sat from 5 pm till 3 am solid waiting for him knowing that after 48 hours running 3 hours of sleep wasnt enough i reltened alarm went off at 6 after crawling in bed 330 ish
