Woohoo!

I had spent 7 hours camping one spot for this guy (great thanks to Ezmode who offered this information http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7481), and the second I decided to go do some laundry he spawned!

Sure enough, he disappeared almost instantly and even though I had been expecting it, it still sent me into a state of mild panic. I circled the area once and after having completed a full round, found him again moving directly eastwards. I remembered to not bother trapping, and hit tame as quickly as I could. What did surprise me was that Nerfbat didn't seem to hit too hard. I began with 90k HP and finished with around 50-60k.

Anyways here's a screenshot (in Twilight Highlands - I quickly tried my luck with Sambas and Karoma, no such luck ) and good luck to those camping him:

There's a video on youtube that follows almost his entire route (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUx_uEmkuVU), in a 'clockwise' rotation around the Abandoned Reef. The start of the video seems to have found him in the same location as I, however my GC was patting in the opposite direction.

Based on all videos and information I have gathered regarding GC's path, I have plotted this single route; http://www.wowhead.com/maps?data=5146:158697. However there is evidence that he can patrol either clockwise or anti-clockwise.

There is very little useful information out there at the moment regarding GC's spawn locs and patrol route, so it is my sincere hope that this may assist you in your hunt. Please do not hesitate to correct me if you discover variations to my theory, I will edit accordingly.

Oh he is so great, and looks amazing with a goblin hunter! I am doing a race change soon--long live the goblin chicas.

I just got mine too! I also camped him for about 7 hours. He spawned where mentioned and then quickly disappeared and went EAST. I was having a heart attack until he re-submerged. lol



Named him Nerfbat.. of course. lol
