I think I've had reasonable luck with pet tames. I've had to pay people sometimes for the nasty ones like Loque but I've never had a) someone kill it from me mid tame or b) someone refuse a [substantial] gold offer for what is essentially a useless kill. Today I had the latter.

Usually I don't actively hunt pets that much, either. I might camp a single spot or check regularly but I won't fly around in circles like I did today for Karoma. I spent all. Day. Circling her spawn locations, spamming my macro, offering gold for a tame in general, chatting to friends and getting others to help etc etc etc.

Look, if it's Loque, aka. to gain an achievement, or even - goodness forbid - for loot, I can understand. At least the person GAINS something from it. My friend and I were spamming for him to stop. I had been asking general all day. We told him over again he got no achieve or loot, I offered 500g, 1k, etc etc. And he kills it. He "didn't see what we were saying, sorry" and went "o" when I told him the gold offer. I find it very, very difficult to believe that pathetic story.

Whatever. Get your kicks from hurting other people. I consider myself a good person and I do my best to help others. WoW is full of trolls and losers and I do my best to not become one of them despite having played the game for so long. I play honestly. I do my best not to annoy people. It's individuals like ^ who make the game HORRIBLE for others through their actions, and in my eyes it is sick to genuinely enjoy the misery of others. Play out your disgusting fantasies elsewhere where you cannot hurt other people.

On the other hand I have met some truly wonderful people who have kept me smiling, helped me and kept up a sort of "support network" for hunters seeking tames. For that I'm grateful. I just wish it could have been one of those people that found the spawn.

And if he genuinely didn't see the repeated say and whisper messages? Well, lol. Go get some glasses.

Sorry that happened. I think you have a very healthy attitude about the game and jerks (I try to be the same, even though it gets hard at times ).

I know some folks that play in a very tunnel vision type of way - they read chat between combat and so on. It's impossible to say if that's the case here. I hope he learned his lesson though.

I'm sure I'll get Wolfy someday - hopefully someday soon - it's just such a disappointment after such a long camp to see her killed when myself and my friend did all we could to avoid that. I'm thinking of it as about 12 hours time to camp Jadefang and Terrorpene(?) that I wouldn't have otherwise had if I didn't know her time of death.

I'm from one of oldest and highly populated PvP server in the US. Sambas gotta be the only rare pet I've tamed that wasn't found on very late night or very early morning before work.

I feel your pain but after seeing an idiot Shammy do the same thing to Karoma, I felt better when I opened trade with him and put in 6000 gold and responded "That's what I would have given you...who's the bitch now?"

Karoma reappeared for me 6 hours later, same spot, tame, mine, win.

Just to report, I was doing a random dungeon and had to repair on my mammoth so whilst I was ported out I left a general chat spam. About 5 minutes later I got a reply! I hurriedly left my dungeon group (sad, as it was good, and I didn't tell them I was going lol... oh well), was invited to group by a priest and the tame went off without too much trouble despite me having to respec, rez my pet and dismiss him lol.

She spawned almost 12 hours after she was killed (which was a 24 hour spawn after my friend tamed her) so perhaps that's a consistent thing? I also have what I believe to be a new spawn location to report! Last night she was killed where the red "x" is (perhaps a little higher up?) and I am standing where I tamed her today. I gave the nice priest a 1.5k gold tip as a thank you, and funnily enough my hunter friend reported that their guildie had just said "Sweet I got 1.5k for giving some hunter a rare spawn". Lol!

So I've hesitantly decided on the name "Imagine" for my beautiful spirit girl, after a white wolf character I used to roleplay with when I was a kid lol. I don't know why I suddenly remembered it, seeing as I've had heaps of wolf pets on here in the past. It fits in nicely though with my preferred theme - Karma the cat, Justice (Skoll), Imagine etc. Here is a pic of my hunter friend and our Karomas.



I am so glad a nice person was there the second time around, and I am also glad I needed to repair and decided to post in general, lol!
