I decided to check the new spawn point you mentioned this morning on my main realm...And there he was, just chilling and waiting for me. He has now been named Arufu, Swahili for mane.



My god, After seeing Jadefang this morning but not having any means of getting to him. I checked for the daily and found the goblin in the cave, so I decided to learn how to get up there to be able to do it in a hurry next time I see him. Some how, he was still there. :O Like he was waiting for me. After about 2 minutes of pondering, and with a poke from Teigs, I decided to tame him first, and go for the minipet at another time.

I really wasnt sure I would like him. But he's my buddy now, we have been all over doing Archaeology.

Thanks all! Little update in the main post of a new friend I found.

The moment I dinged 81, I began a 2-day, obsessive Terrorpene camp, and finally tamed him at 2am, after 8 straight hours of camping on day 2. He's my hunter's best friend, having been my leveling pet through 85, and recently having tanked a solo Karazhan run just for fun. His name is Turrask, and he's a B.A.

So in the wake of that mind-numbing pet camping endeavor, I wasn't sure how I'd be able to stay sane doing the same for Sambas, only over a much larger spawn/patrol area. But I knew one thing: I wanted this lion.

I logged in this morning, 15 minutes before server reset, and just decided to hop on over to Twilight Highlands to look for him.

And then it happened. Drums and horns started playing, and the lion model started spinning. NPCScan had detected this beautiful lion somewhere nearby. I panicked and frantically clicked the target button, looking around for where he might be. Finally I saw him and haphazardly landed right in front of him. I hit Tame Beast.

After mending him to full happiness, I went to Stormwind and logged out before the server shutdown. Didn't want to risk losing my new friend to a reboot bug or something.

So the question is: What should I name this beautiful animal? My old ghost saber was named Shiro, but I gave that name to my Loque'nahak already (and Sambas isn't the right color for such a name).

Ooo< Grats on Terrorpene! I have yet to see him. XD

My guildies didnt understand my happiness when I got Sambas..:/ kinda ruined the mood.
