I have successfully today tamed Terrorpene solo. Here is my info on him :]

SOLO TAME: Stack 10k health per second it takes you to tame (to be on safe side go for about 10k more then that,
you will probably take damage before you begin the tame) Priest buff very reccommended if your low on health. Stack
lots of haste. (i tamed at about 60k health and finished the tame as i was falling to the ground dead).

GROUP TAME: Damage him a lot to keep healer from aggroing, Priests are helpful for their Power Word: Shield and so are
Paladins for Fire Resist Aura. I do not know if he is able to be Polymorphed by Mages. Dont worry about killing him by causing
lots of aggro, he has 111k health.

Any idea on spawn time?

i heard 6/12/18/24...i just guess he has a chance of spawning each 6 hours :/ *my sources might be wrong!*

I can doubly confirm the southern spawn point, once for myself a few hours ago and once before me.

As for the spawn timer, I'm certain it's following the Northend example of 6hr spawn, 1 per zone, with a possible population cap across Cataclysm zones.

Its definatly not always 6 hours, as ive seen it get killed twice, went back 6 hours later and he definatly wasnt there. Was also there for the 12 hours mark.

I finally got him yesterday though.

Personnaly, i think its a random spawn timer, between 6 hours and 24 hours, and theres no way to tell what itll be.

Also, i can confirm, both of the unconfirmed spawn locations on the map above, seen him twice at the southern one and once at the north western one.

You really dont need 60k of hp or alot of haste (which helps)

The best thing you can do is fire resist. Use a fire resist potion / flask + Drums of the wild. If you are a LW put +70 fire resist on your braces. This wil bring he's damage to 4k (per tick).

And it's not 10k per second, it's more 10k per second for 4 sec and than a break for I think 2-3 sec. So the calculation 60k for 6 sec is wrong.

I tamed him solo with 56k hp and when the tame was over I had 28k hp left (got 7 ticks of 4k).

Glad to know the possible locations are correct, this was my very first time ever seeing him and i was in such a rush to tame that all i know i saw was a horrible debuff and myself dropping dead while taming. I am also a miner/herbalist and used haste instead of fire resist

I will confirm again the southern spawn point. Tamed terrorpene today at the southern spot...he scared the crap out of me!

I didn't camp very much, just logged out in his spawnpoint while I did randoms, and after a few days I got him. At 85 I had 90k and he hits very hard, so under 85 bring a healer with you.

u can tame with 37K health...easypeasy just nag a 50resist potion +potion of speed and core hound. +Trolls can use racials and herbers the healing/haste spell...240haste at lvl 81
