So, I hit 85, and zipped by Karoma and Sambas spawns a few times, but not really up to camping. I made my way down to the depths a couple of times and looked for Ghost Crawler, but just did one circle and mined a bit, then left.

Tonight, I finally got the daily for Jadefang. Another hunter and her boyfriend were there camping, so we talked a bit. I met another fellow petopian who saw me there with my Barbecue pig. Good hunter conversation. I talked about no longer being a BELF--have gone goblin and changed my name. I am still Karma, but Karmakazi the Goblin now :}

I had to go eat a bite, after playing with the quest bombs WAY too much. I came back, and poofed to Org. On a whim, I flew up and jumped through the portal to the watery realm and hopped on my sea horse. I thought, ok, one pass through the Ghost Crawler area and to bed. Now, I have NPC scan thingie as of today, but must not have it set up? Anyway, I get to what I think is the area and no scan goes off, nothing. I just look down and there he is.... Crawling along the bottom right below me. Nobody else even in the area. I drop down, dismiss my pig quick quick and hit tame.

My heart almost came out of my chest. I tamed him, and then screamed in vent and scared people to death :}

I is one happy little goblin! Now for a name...Bisque?

And I need to change my sig to reflect my new greenness.

In keeping with a theme of Goblin-esque sounding pet names, I had to name my GC "Nurf". He gets a lot of el-oh-els in town. xD

Ok so I can't find this mob listed on wowhead anywhere, how do you know where to find it?

Also- for NPC scan to go off for those pets you need to add them into npcscan.

If you type /npcscan while in the game it will pop up the interface - you add pets by putting in their NPC ID number (which you can get from wowhead - it's the number in the URL) which is specific to each NPC. Then either pick a world zone or leave it blank, and then click the + button on the righthand side. Make sure you click the plus and don't just click okay because otherwise it doesn't actually get added.

Another thing to point out- if there is a red X next to an inputted NPC it means it has been cached in your WoW Cache folder (you have seen it, either tamed or in the wild) and you need to go delete your cache folder for it to register and announce that it has found the pet for you.

Currently camping for him and everytime Kolorath passes the area my heart skips a beat.. I bet this is not healthy

I caught my Ghostcrawler on the day I hit 85. I just headed to the abandoned reef and happened to see him there. Needless to say, my heart nearly asploded. I quickly hit tame beast and then... "Cannot be tamed" I suddenly realize I was in Survival spec. I feverishly respec and then he despawns! I quickly mount up and comb the zone looking everywher for the little bugger. Eventully I find him. I Hit tame, and proceed to get pummeled with the dreaded "nerfbat" attack. He knocks me down from 91k to within inches of my life. Luckily he gets tamed before I die. Needless to say, the day I hit 85 was a good one, as I also got the Green Protodrake.
