So, my camping for Terrorpene has gone -very- badly the last three days. I was out mining ore and I figured...what the hell. Im going to go down in the caverns and see if the daily is up, the one that helps you get up to the ledge where Jadefang spawns. Sure enough, its there. And since I have never really tested on how to get up to that ledge before I figured I might as well go test it out right now for the first time, so that when I DO see Jadefang spawned I'll be able to get up there in a hurry.

So here I go, I use the daily bomb to hop up there, thinking "Well this is easy..." I walked into the back, no Jadefang. I wasnt really expecting him to be there with the bombing daily having been up all day. So I was -just- about to hop back down when....NPC-SCAN BLARE. AHHHHHHHH. I turn around, he JUST spawned nearly ontop of me.

OMG IM IN THE WRONG SPEC. WHERE THE HELL IS TAME BEAST......WHAT DO YOU MEAN ITS UNTAMEABLE?!!? Wait...IM STILL IN THE WRONG SPEC. -Switches to Beast Hunter- TAME DANGIT TAME.....*Flash of Light* OMG YES.

Just in time, for two Horde Hunters hopped up onto the ledge right behind me. It was made an even sweeter tame, when I realized one of the Horde Hunters that hopped up was one of the -very- horde hunters that has been griefing me on my Terrorpene hunt. SERVES YOU RIGHT if he ever reads this!

I have never even thought of a name...I didnt expect to get him this early on! Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm exactly like you - if I happen to spot a rare spawn at the wrong moment I'm all over the place trying to find specs and tame buttons and goodness knows what else lol.

As for names... I haven't named mine yet, though I'm aiming for a green rock/stone/gem of some sort. Emerald is too common. Do Quartz come in green?

Emerald or Jade was my first thoughts, but yeah its way too common...Im not too sure about quartz?

I'm exactly the same way-- for some reason, I'm always in the middle of a whisper and sitting on a flying mount when the drums go off, and in my haste to get down and get taming, I inevitably send something like "wwwwwafdgfd344444" to the poor person I'd been conversing with. XD

Congrats on a very lovely tame! Quartz may not come in green, but 'Malachite' is a very pretty green stone and a little less common? Hope you find one that suits it!

Awww I was gonna suggest some names/shades of green. Olive, shamrock, chartreuse, and a totally awesome name for green that I used in a photography series that I can't remember at the moment . I'm in bed (it's 6am and my neighbor is playing random music) and I'm not getting up to turn on my computer right now lol.

im also from Eredar (horde), had just gotten jadefang the day before (for mini pet) daily wasnt available so it was a struggle but against all odds (and like 6 ppl who were trying to get up there at the same time as me) i got my mini pet

he is definitely on my "to be tamed" list once i complete my hunter to 85

yeah, I still gotta grab him a 2nd time just to get my mini pet so I can have the set to match, but it still almost hurts to think of killing the guy even after Ive already tamed him. =P

Aw I am sorry...I ended up looking up Malachite on google and its such a pretty green. =P That and it being a stone just seemed perfect.

LOL I did that to my guild leader the other day when I found Karoma. He was like, "WTF are you talking about Cat?" Hahaha!
