so I decide to bring my spirit beast loque, whom I call Hoshi into a random reg with me, I havnt used him in a good while... good thing I did. it was me, pally tank pally heals, another hunter and a DK.
okay this may be confuseing but I'll do my best
we get to the green marker on the map and look at the blue group, I CC one of the mobs but the other hunt keeps using multi-shot breaking the CC twice, I tell him to stop. we kill them fine, then things get iffy, healer says ' I need mana' other hunt pulls anyway, he pulls the red group and backs up to where blue was, he gets agro and seems to panic disengaging RIGHT into where the purple group is. I sigh, CC a caster who stays at the black dot in my ice block healer does his best to conserve mana letting the other hunt drop, followed by the DK as he keeps the tank alive, whom I might add only has 80k or so somehow, good tank but low health. finnaly tank goes down, I MD to hoshi and turn on growl, swiveling and shooting a trap to reCC the caster at the black dot. hoshi is tanking the last free mob over by the pink dot when suddenly the orange group [pats] agro's to him, I CC one of them and pull him over behind me once pink dies, the black dot breaks his CC, my trap comes off CD and I drop one sending hoshi over to the black dot and dragging one mob over my trap and catching him, the CCed orange breaks his trap and I send hoshi over he's tanking the caster and the orange mob when he dies, they rush for me, I hit heart of the phoenix just as the caster dies from a SS tick [luck is on my side] he takes the orange mob as I re CC the other one behind me and those who had died finnaly arrive back again and the tank takes over. we down both of them. The healer starts going off about how epic that was while I sit there trying to figure out how in the hell did we pull that off

lol we had a tank pull a boss the giant rock like one in stone core whole the healer is afk me and another hunter are in this with a pally dps we see this as O h s h i t .....!!! other hunter quick pulls out his scarab i have my shadowmaw hit growl and the 2 pets proceeded to taunt back and forth while we dps the boss down when the tank and pally have died and the boss is still at half health credit to the scarab who on a marks hunter did a good job of holding most of the aggro and not dying

That is crazy! >.> if it isn't a guild run I usually dismiss pet and run away to FD. I'm a bad cowardly huntard. Although there have been plenty of times where I've finished off bosses (usually that one in Grim Batol that switches to the 2h and the derptanks don't realize they need to flee). Or finished off mobs. However, no, typically I go and FD in the corner while the mages invis. I LEARNED MY ROLE WELL BACK IN BWL.

it was insane, I still cant believe I survived that. I've never felt so awesome.

yha normally I just FD as well but something about how horribad the other hunter was playing pushed me to pull this off. guess I wanted to prove not all hunters were fail >_>

Well in that case I would have done the same. I have seen some pretty amazing things, and I was actually about to post this awesome story about these two hunters attempting to tame beetles in HoO, but then I remembered that there could possibly be those same hunters here and I felt bad, because everyone has bad days, so nevermind. Just know that I understand.

well I'm hopeing it was just a bad day for the other hunt, he kept pulling when people wernt ready and CCing the wrong mobs and such through the entire run though. I won't name names but I do hope it was a bad day for them

that is awesome. That hunter sounded like a mage I had in a Tol'vir group yesterday.

That is truely epic. Congrats to you and your pet! I've been able to a pull a few of those off, but not quite as epic as yours!

I now keep Barret (My terropene) at the ready for just such instances, they seem to happen a lot in these new dungeons. Many times i've had to dismiss Nanaki mid fight and call out my turtle to save the day.

Haha awesome! The other day Chromaggus downed 50% of the mechanical boss in heroic deadmines because our tank died. hahaha!
