Being a Night Elf, my character obviously just *adores* hanging out in a blistering, windy desert day after day filled with grumpy scorpions (who are regularly killed and DRAINED OF THEIR FLUIDS, how gross is that). But being a hunter she is stubborn and when she sets her eyes on the prize, there's no turning back. Urgh.

So I was flying around in circles today in Uldum, wondering if I should go and do something else and come back and camp late night/early morning (which seems to be when Madexx has been spawning) or just stay and continue flying around in circles. Perhaps it was boredom or insanity, I don't know.

I land on the ground because I'm really bored and start running around watching the drake run animation which never gets old. And then I find myself on top of a Venomblood Scorpid, who is very angry at getting stepped on by a drake and goes "SCREEEECH screech screech" at me and starts snapping at my poor dragon. I dismount and before I know it...



Sorry, say what? Even my character is looking at it like "O.o".

I am quickly growing fond of little Scorpy though. I think *if* I ever do find Madexx, Scorpy might just have to go through a "molt" or "grow up" or something. Eeeg.

Ok Petopians I can confirm that posting on forum = pet tame. Literally 5 minutes after posting this... DUN DUN DUNNN goes NPC scan and my second favourite colour Madexx after green) pops up directly under me!

Scorpy went through his molt pretty quickly it seems...



Now I can finally get out of this stupid desert.

It worked for me this morning! Posted something about wanting Madexx and around 15min later, one of the two colours I wanted popped. Now approaching 6hrs later, so I'm going to try my luck and hope that posting again will get the other colour to spawn soon.

So, pretty please, a blue Madexx thanks!

...and even though I just saw a dead Madexx about an hour ago... I really hope the Blue, Green, or Red one pops when I am around...

Good luck! And thanks so much. Hehe. Now I just need a name... I could always stick with Scorpy, but before I tamed the original Scorpy I was thinking of something in relation to a star constellation. Shall ask the bf.

He has been named Ruchbah (rushh-bar) after some sort of star in some constellation. I'm thinking he's pretty happy cause the second I named him he did that happy wave-claws-in-the-air move. Three cheers for Ruchbah!

*grin* He's such an eager little dude, I'm in love with him already.

Been looking for Madexx the last few days. Was doing my circles tonight for a few hours and npcscan finally went off. Spun around and found him being attacked. Frantic I tried to get the guy to stop and amazingly he did. But Madexx was low on health. I used distract while the other guy was skill attacking but by the time he actually stopped Madexx only had 810 hps left. I couldn't distract again without risking killing him, and he still had aggro. I trapped him and told the other guy to run away. Should have told him to bubble but, I wasn't thinking to clearly at the time.

As he was running away, someone else landed, killed Madexx and ran off.

Sigh.

Bye bye dead blue Madexx. You're adventure filled life as trusty companion will never be.

Oh no, that sucks. I'm sorry you lost out on your Madexx. Hopefully he'll spawn again soon.

I am not convinced Madexx actually exists on my realm I have not seen him even once and I've been camping off and on for days. Is there a particular place I should be camping him? Big gratz to getting yours by the way! Hopefully mine won't take too long.

Ok this is just weird but not 10 minutes after posting to this thread npc scan goes off and its Madexx in Green no less, which was the color I was hoping for. I believe someone made a post about the karma you get when posting to this site, I guess there is really something to it. lol

Hmm, 14hrs since I tamedd my red Madexx and no sign yet of him again. I'm camping for a blue for me and a red for someone else.

Please oh god of the forums, let one spawn, I'd prefer the red to spawn again first so my fellow camper will be happy.
