Undead mage

So, I've been thinking of switching my mage over to the Horde, Undead specifically, and using the free server change we've got available on Sylvanas to move her to Bloodhoof. The problem is, her current name wouldn't work for an undead. Anyone got any suggestions? I'd prefer RP-esque names, so nothing like Firesoul and ABSOLUTELY not Ikilludeadwithfire.

For undead, of any class, I prefer using gothic names. As in, Goths, the barbarians, not the kids wearing dark.

Like, Alaric, Theodoric, Theoden etc.

That sounds like a really good idea. Got any good female names?

I could google out as well as you do, getting something like Amalfrida, Gliesmoda or Wilgefortis. When trying to get a historic female Goth, I got Amalasuntha, daughter of Theodoric the Great of Ostrogoths. Yeah, all gothic names are long and rough like that.

Actually, I did try to google before replying, but I didn't get a lot of female names, even when I added female to the terms, and none of them were very good. Extended searching after posting just resulted in more bad names.
Those names are a bit loner than I'd prefer, but seem pretty good otherwise. I might have found a decent site for it, but searching it is very tedious. Thanks for the help with ideas.

How about one of these?
Simius, Rhidilas, Rirabild, Maribild, Vinthas, Ranio, Eredis, Joluin, Sivecus, Duldedus, Hibbas, Celiris, Virius, Roselus, Varundulf, Cenilis, Wirespa, Rethirus, Attius, Wella, Vila,
Biredaric, Theudinus, Crosedolf, Moleuca...
The everchanging book of Names is a neverending source of, well, names.
I didn't bother to pick the male sounding names from the list, they might inspire you.
And there is more, where they came from! Almost any style you like. Just ask!

Hmm... I really like Lilith, but it's already taken, as I noticed trying to reserve the name. :(
Nice list Kara, I've found a few interesting ones, slapped them together and created ABOMINABLE RESULTS. Or, simply, very weird and slightly amusing ones. :P

For Worgen and Undead I try to come up with names that sound like old english names. For females that would be names ending in -beth, -lina, -dora, -lyn and so on. Then I add a prefix from a different name so the name won't be taken, like Sarabeth, Annadora, Ellalyn, Marlina, Lilibeth and so on.
(These aren't that good but they'll do as a starting point/example).
Some old fashioned names suitable for forsaken/Worgen (IMO) are: Isobel, Eleanor, Emmeline, Alice, Amelie, Adeline, Beatrice, Cecilia, Delilah, Drusilla, Florence, Gwendolyn, Harriet, Henrietta, Mathilda, Penelope and Theodora.
Just mix and match suffixes and prefixes, or add a prefix of your own.
Also you could try alternative spellings, Like Lilleth, Lileth, Lilyth or Lylith, if you really like that name.

Durga is the Hindu goddess of death. She is also known as Chandi the Burning, or Vetala the Ghoul.

I like using slightly old fashioned Victorian era names for Undead. I managed to snag Nicholas for my male undead mage on Nesingwary. Suits him perfectly. x)
