Ok well.. I decided I wanted to go for the blue or red madexx, or black.. first one that spawn after 5 hour camp was the Brown! Tamed him and now adore him but.. I wanted the blue, so.. I looked again casually the next day.. was about to fly off to do digging when Npcscanner picked up the black one! So I tamed him, helped my hunter friend out by giving him a timer and he tamed the red one.

Well.. casually went on to look around while waiting for supper and who was up but the black one.. I had tamed before lol. So I told my hunter friend and he came over to tame him.

So I am making a madexx thread because.. I think itll be awhile before I find my blue boy and the red one. But I figured youd guys would enjoy some nice in the wild screenshots of Madexx ^.^ Since I get alot of questions "how big is he in the wild" and "where does he spawn" "and how small is he after the tame"

and this is him right as he got tamed, and my little madexx beside me so you can see the size difference, he may be a bit bigger cause I got it right as he tamed him because madexx was in a trap



Hopefully all this will help you guys get Madexxs of your own if your looking for him. I know when I was looking I enjoy seeing pics and whatever I could to help pin point where he was and stuff, and pics are always nice.. so I added a few more in my files but dont wanna crowd it so much.

and Ill also add to this all the colors of Maddexx as I see him. It may take awhile but eh I have time on my hands And its nice to see the difference, you guys can add your stories to. My hunter friend and I, are teaming up to look for that ellussive scorpion so Ill add the count we see and see if maybe theres a color that pops more (which I doubt but two blacks in a row for me.. odd lol)

Would you happen to know the time between each tame? I've been camping for 2 days without seeing the sight of a body nor a hunter with him tamed or a hunter looking to tame him.

Yeah I would love any ideas on times between spawns, I got the green one a few hours ago but I'd really like a shot at the blue or black one.

Is it just me, or does He resemble one of the 'Scorpion' Chimaera from Resistance/R2?

Hmm well.. I tamed mine at 7 50pm (black), and the next tame was 2 50 am, then I think the next tame was 4 50 (black) but he could have spawned inbetween times but I doubt it cause the other hunter was camping there for a long time. So it seems to be on a 6 -14 hour spawn timer.. so really its all about right time, right place

Good lord, you've found/tamed what, four of them? I haven't seen claw nor tail of this guy. I'm not too picky, I pretty much want any color except blue, so it's really just a matter of finding the blasted critter. I smell some long camps in my future.

You're having far better luck than I with Madexx, I've watched in horror as he's been butchered by people questing 5 times this week and the only time he's spawned in the colour I want (red) I was in BRC =( I'm contemplating putting a 5000g reward on a live red one I'm so sick of camping him 16+ hrs a day non stop just to watch him die.

Finally got a Madexx...in blue. /looks at blue Madexx.'Where did I put that can of red paint?'

Still trying to get Madexx. Hoping for Blue or Red color personally. Though, the only time I saw him, a Hunter "accidentally" killed him and said "I didn't know it was a special Scorpid" out loud in general chat.

How do you NOT know the Scorpid the size of a PROTO DRAKE is not normal for the area??? O_o

I'd send you my blue one if I could. I just sit there and give him death stares all day....and spam BM on him constantly in the hope the red will stick....on a side note that last pic of the black madexx cracks me up.He looks like he wants a cuddle.

Lol when it comes to finding him in colors I dont need its getting pretty difficult now.. just really want the blue and red.

But I am sorry that some douche killed him! Thats so mean

I'm *hoping* for green, brown, or black, not so much blue or red, but at this point I'll be ecstatic just to see him. I've been in this blasted desert for days and days and haven't even heard his name mentioned in general or anything. He's almost like a myth or something. And it's incredibly frustrating to know that he's spawning during my work and sleep hours. Wish I could be like kids and have two weeks off in the winter. I'm lucky to get a couple days. Maybe once they're back in school I'll have better luck. But that means I'll have to wait another week and a half.

I really want you Madexx, please spawn for me! Please?! I promise to hug you and love you and cuddle you and give you cookies!!! Well, not all the cookies, some of them are mine.

Dang arachnid. I would kick him if I could find the darn thing.

I want the Green Madexx, and I've seen about eight people on my server with it. EIGHT.

I got to 85 last night, so that extra stam will be nice to survive any attacks, but I've not seen Madexx in the wild once, whereas the green one seems to be common. I'd settle for black or red even, but I just want to see the green one in the wild. Best look IMO

GL to everyone on your Madexx. your best bet is to just casually look every now and then. Or park your guy there and do some other things.. each time I found Madexx it was when I was doing some other things on Saon, check quickly on Sas and there it was. Oddly enough he last for a long long time before I find someone to tame it or I tame it myself. But he is for sure worth it

Also he seems to path far from his spawn points to. Ive seen him (as black) by the quest giver guy, a bit off to the left though.
And as the red by the lower bottom half to the left, where the moon place is.

His timer seems a bit wierd but ive seen him twice in one day. Once at 826 am, and then at 10 51 pm. So the spawn timer is interesting none the less.. unless he spawned inbetween that time he has a long timer.

Also I dont know whats going on.. or if its just wierd or something but Ive seen him spawn at theexact same time days apart to..

three times at 8 26-30am in the morning (1 black, 2 green)
and then 3 times at 4 33 exactly (1 blue, 1 black, 1 brown)
then I saw him.. 750 pm, and then 12 53 am..

On my server not alot of people seem to be looking for him.. or something cause he stays up for quite a long time. And ive only seen him killed once, the other times ive either tamed or found someone to tame him

I hope I can find a blue or green one. I know it's greedy but. Oh well.

On my server, he was killed around 8:49 p.m. Friday night and 8:10 p.m. Saturday night. I checked the desert at the 6 and 12 hour marks and he wasn't up (checking for about an hour and a half each time just to give him a window), which leads me to believe he's doing a 23-ish hour spawn right now. Ugh. I want green and another Petopian wants blue, so we're hoping to get one of those colors. I like brown, too, and would be happy with that (but I REALLY want green!). Come on Madexx, please?! I feel like I'm finally getting close, like catching up to you.
