The delightful raptors known as Corrupted Bloodtalon Scythemaws are, as far as my extensive search of their former range can tell, "extinct in the wild". They were around level 10, used the "yellow" skin color, and could be found in the past all across northeastern Durotar.

However, this site doesn't list them there (or anywhere, for that matter).

Honestly, part of this has saddened me greatly. My first EVER pet was a Corrupted Bloodtalon Scythemaw, who quite awesomely has remained my most highly used pet. Many an alliance he's helped gank and even raid bosses he's helped take down.

Still, it should be noted on this site that his kind are no longer available for taming in the wilds.

On the flip side, all the corruption has been bred out of the raptors, and the ones that were tainted are gone and/or dead!

Gone? Mine's sitting in Orgrimmar, like 100 yards from where he got tamed :p

You mean other than the island full of corrupted raptors near Sen'jin?

They moved home, and drank outland potions.

They still aren't on there

So what you are saying is that the Corrupted Bloodtalon Scythemaws should be on the extinct pets page of Petopia. Very well, I'll make a note of it on the corrections thread.

Yep, just like the rest of the "Corrupted" critters in Durotar, which I do believe are on the list, you can no longer find them. Fizzle Darkclaw's death means my raptor is one of the last of his kind. Sadness
