Hi there.

So from what I understand, the Macro tame thing has been hotfixed.
Is it still possible to get the burning Boar through a well timed tame or can't you get it anymore at all?

I'm not entirely sure but considering Blizzard knows about this and doesnt want us to do this, it's best not to put your account at risk.

I tamed one a week after the petabandon() macro hotfix, using the old timed method where the boar dies the exact same time tame beast ends. May take a while, but it is definantly still possible. ^_^

I also think someone on here the other day posted something about a way to still tame all of the buff pets using a dismiss pet/mount up thing....I dunno that way sounds pretty complicated but if you want them you should check it out.

I found that the serpent sting/pet dies same time tame beast ends method works like a charm for those buff pets with enough health to handle it. The ghost bird in Outland can still be tamed via just timing like 10 secs before it despawns and start taming. But this method. So however you want to put it, blizz only fixed the petabandon() method.

I'm sure they are not gonna be happy with us sneaky hunters, but if there is anyone out there who still wants the pets, nows the time to tame! And I think people are a little too worried about this banning nonsense. I've been experimenting and playing with these tames since they were discovered, and I have yet to be banned or warned. I'm sure blizz has been watching me, but it is a glitch they overlooked, so there isn't anyway to really blame their paying customer for goofing around with it. I'll be experimenting with new ways to tame things till everyway possible has been fixed or I have been banned. d=(^_- )Z

I just tamed one of the flaming boars with the Abandon Macro and it worked. So as of Dec 22, you can still get the Fire Piggy.
