I wanted to get this pet for pvp and looks like its a short respawn on it. I picked it up when I flew over the area the first time. Whats the spawn on it anyway? 1-2 hrs? I think it will work well being the only ferocity that can pin a target for 4 sec.
Does anyone else use Bayne for pvp or anything else?

You DO realize a pet doesn't keep a special ability when tamed right?

When tamed, it has all the exact same abilities as every other Dog family pet.

I have seen Bayne around the Undead starting area many times. Hopefully shouldn't be too hard to find him

Not sure what you are taking about? Dogs are ferocity and have Lock Jaw which hold the target in place for 4 sec.

What ability are you referring too?

Maybe I misunderstood your post.

It seemed like you were saying Bayne had a special ability no other pet did.

Do you mean only Bayne? Dogs in general all do this, so you can pick any dog you like, doesn't have to be Bayne alone. Apologies if I'm misunderstanding but your wording seems to imply that Bayne's the only pet who has the pin

I have a blue magehunter (the bright blue runed dogs) because I LOVE their colors, but I don't find the pin anywhere near as useful as a Chimaera's snare--and I find roots useless vs casters in general (snare at least you can better control their counter-kiting). Bayne himself has gorgeous coloring too, though, and I HAVE been tempted by him.

My troll huntress has Bayne although I have not used him for PvP yet. And Ache, Bayne might only be useful against melee, but as hunters we now have the ability to swap pets on the fly. If you have a nasty caster around you can always swap out to a corehound, nether ray, etc.

Anyway, I really like Bayne, he looks super cute next to my troll. ^_^

I adore Bayne to bits. :3 or most of the demon doggies for that matter.

I made Bayne my first tame on my new hunter. I used him for awhile and picked up several other demon dogs like him but I'm still very fond of him

Yeah, and if I'm 1v1 for some reason (wPvP etc) I will swap to a more suitable pet--but in bgs, you are fighting both, so I prefer a pet that can handle both!

My Bayne has Terrifying Roar and Monstrous Bite.

...Did I mention my Bayne is King Krush?

Bayne is my Undead Hunter, Lydeea's first tame, and he's her favourite pet. I just think they look really nice together, especially since his mane matches Lydeea's hair

Never thought I'd like a dog, but they just click together so nicely.

I've got Bayne, but I don't pvp really so I'm not sure why I have him. I just love the little darkhounds.

You know if you want that skin. There also in Kerazan. Just go in and take a right, go past the spiders and bats and there they are. there's also the ghost ones down there as well as that purple skin.

For some people, it's much more fun to get the rare spawn version of a skin.

No to mention, Bayne's a whole lot easier to get than trying to get into Kara, like all/most low level rares, he should have a spawn timer of about 10 minutes or so (I'd say anywhere between 10 minutes and 2 hours).
