Of the pets, Jadefang was the only other rare I was really looking for (Sambas surprised me to be quite frank). So when the bomb quest showed up, I started my checking up. Saw him up there at one point, joyfully blew myself up to the ledge... only to see a warrior killing it. They got there first. So it's all fair. It doesn't mean it was any less saddening to see!

So I parked myself up there before logging off, and on logging in, who should I see but my Sambas-friend, Stoney. He was AFK, so I slipped off. As I said: first one there's the first one there. I know he's there for the minipet, but to be honest, I'd do the same after I caught her!

Few hours later, he whispers me, we chat for a while, and I slip off into Tol Barad. Fifteen minutes into Tol Barad, and I get another whisper: Jadefang is up! Hearth to Stormwind, head for Deepholme, fumble ineffectually with the bombs until Stoney shows me how to do it first time (every time!), and finally get up there to get myself a Jadefang!

So as you can see, hunters, good karma always comes back around. .... well, I'd like to hope it does.

After you helped me get sambas i was very grateful and happy to let him go to another decent hunter (i got him already). After a 7hr camp i did debate wheather or not to kill him though

As hunter karma has it i'd much rather see him get tamed by you, someone who appreciates tamabe rares, rather than kill him for a minipet.

But next time the pets mine, 3 camps is all im doin with one rare

there is a VERY easy trick to get up to his spawn point without the bomb quest lol makes taming him uber easy. alas i dont want to really say it because i dunno if it would be TOS breaking or get hotfixed as i havent tamed him yet (killed him for my mini spider tho!)
