i ding 84, left the main town in uldum and BAM see this huge scorpion below me lol. the tame was cake.




guess ill be on the look out for the other colors, as i had no intention of even camping him till i was 85, but hey i wont say no to a easy rare !

Grats, happened to me about the same way. went up north to kill the water serpent mother, and had the red version there waving at me.

no, that is not were i tamed him, there were quite a few horde up near his spawn points so i tamed and took off so not to get ganked lol.
also around 6 hours later he was there again lol same color but i did alert a near by hunter so he could get him as there were a few people doing the venom quest and he prolly was about to get killed lol.

How big is he? And is he a passive mob, or aggressive? Im getting ready to camp him, but I dont know what to look for on my minimap, or even the altitude to fly. I mean, if hes agressive and the same size as the other mobs, I should fly low and keep an eye out for him.. but if hes big and/or passive, i should fly high.

about the size of a whooly rhino from WOLK. in other words huge, you cant miss him. in comparison to the other mobs there he is like 15x larger and is aggressive, just drop in, freeze trap him and tame away.
