I'm Alliance, am I doomed?

So, I have been playing WoW on and off for about a year now and have been trying out various alts. I am really enjoying my Worgen hunter and thinking I may finally have found a main I can lvl to 85 and beyond..... Now I need to find a guild. I was in a very active one on my last MMO and have missed the camaraderie.
I've been on Velen all this time (loved that the server name reminded me of Babylon 5), I'd be willing to jump servers but I am just not that into Horde. Am I doomed to a life of lonely soloing?

It really depends on your server, doesn't it? I play alliance on Ysera, and I find alliance side is much more bustling and lively, cooperative and friendly (most of the time) than horde side. *shrug* You mileage may vary and all that, this is just my personal observation from my own realm.

My alliance were on Argent Dawn server and being the moist heavily populated sever I encounter just a whole lot of rude /mean ally players. I did change to Nesingwary and I'm in the Petopian's ally guild <Ominous Latin Name>. There are still the jerks but they're few and far between. IF I'm on my ally now, which is rare, the only hiccups I've encountered is when dealing with random dungeons and the occasional jerks you come accross in there.
The guild itself however is full of amazing - wonderful and kind people.
My experience with ally has been the complete opposite of Sarayana's
Which is why I stopped playing my main.

Could just be Velen... I'll roll up an alt or two on Nesingwary & see how it goes. I suppose I could try a Blood Elf but overall I really do prefer the Alliance races.

I'm already playing a stinky Draenei as my main. The people on Feathermoon have been fantastic for the most part. I hope you find a good home.

Well I rolled up a Blood Elf on Nesingwary today & she is now a member of Petopians

.
Still need to decide what to do about my Worgen though. She & her pet Stabby the Crab are just so much fun......

I was on Gundrak - PvP and I loved it there, I made a horde alt and ended up xfering my two 80's over to Nesingwary; one was alliance and the other was horde. The Nesingwary guild is more horde-oriented and so I just ended up starting my own alliance guild as I had done historically.. I'll never feel totally comfortable playing horde - 'cause of the way the NPCs (and some players) speak about alliance most of the time - and it feels wrong every time I get attacked by -- and kill one of them. (I could blast horde NPCs all day!) xD
I'm sure there are other forum-goers with alliance toon in good guilds from various servers.. and probably some decent guilds on your own server as well? My family may end up xfering a char or two to Nesingwary - A to join my guild. It's what usually happens.. I xfer everything and they go "booo you left?!" and then follow me. x3
Anyway, good luck with the guild-searching!
