Ok, I'm not sure if this is just me, but I've been going from "No I don't want to waste my time on a pet with a .1% drop" to "But my main pet is a fox and it was my first to 85 and WAH I need it!" So, I've been going to T'B, doing a few laps and killing foxes for about 1/2 an hour before raging out and quitting. I really fail at farming. Which is pretty much why all my rare-spawn hunter pets were by dumb luck since when I try I fail. XD!

Anyho. It's not too bad, since the pet is BoP and I've had a bit of competition but nothing horrible. It just feels like after 5 days of farming it for maybe an hour each time (told you I'm bad at this lol) it just seems to be more hassle. I have a problem with trying to hard for pets, getting excited, and kind of punting them to the side. It's sad, I know.

Anyone lucky enough to get this adorable pet and good stories?

I have the same story as you. Since a week back I've been going there on and off when I'm bored and when I feel my "luck is coming" XD
But heck no !!
Not a single sign of that pet, and then I read stories on warcraftpets.com "oh I got this in 3 kills.." and such

But I wont give up this pet! Stil haven't seen him on my server yet =))

Best way to get this pet and not drive yourself mad is to just kill foxes as you come across them while doing dailies in Tol Barad. About 3 days after I heard that the pet existed, while killing every single fox on my tracker as I rode around for dailies, the fox kit dropped.

Just a word of warning, it is verrrrrrrrry tiny. Like squirrel sized. So don't be surprised when you get it at just how puny it is.

My hopes were so high from warcraftpets too! "Oh this looks not so bad!" Yeaaaah no, it's painful. I have decent luck farming when I don't want pet, of course. I haven't done any of the Tol'B dailies yet since I'm sure if I'm working on getting the seagull the first fox I'll kill with drop the pet. /facepalm

I-it's that teeny?! Ok that just makes me want it so much more.

Aw, I had hoped that by pointing out how tiny it was it'd make you feel better since I know I was hoping it'd be a bit larger (by a bit, I mean a LOT). I actually lost it amongst some squirrels and thought a squirrel was the fox, go figure!

I usually have terrible drop luck so I'm amazed I got one so fast. My hubby wants one now and has been farming foxes AND killing them between dailies and so far, no luck

I farmed this non stop for a few hours every day and it never dropped. I have decided to just kill the foxes I come across as I do my dailies and not torture myself. The drop rate sucks for this one =(

Same story here- I have a friend who killed 5 and got it. *insert glare here* Good luck everyone! I hope we all have some new little fox kits running around with us soon!

Ok, I am full of rage with this one now, according to my mod I have killed just over 1000 now. I am sick of killing them and it needs to drop! ok rage off. This is definitely ranked up there with some of my worse farms

I think I camped foxes on my main for about four days before mine dropped, the day it dropped it dropped on my 4th kill. (guessing around 500 kills total) I felt really bad killing cute wittle foxes for a cute wittle fox, but it's adorable.

I've been trying on Obito but not to the same extent, if a fox is between me and my dailies it dies. Good luck!

I FINALLY got mine last night. My husband was wondering why I was "Squeeing" from the other room hahaha! For the record, it took me nearly 2000 kills before I got it. Bleh. Good luck everyone!!!

I got mine on my shaman just by killing the foxes I came across while doing quests. I probably killed 20 or so. I never got something i wanted so bad in so little time. It was a bit disheartening to see how tiny he is although he is so cute.

I like how tiny he is- I think that makes him cuter! I used one of the pet biscuits I got as a prize from my cata collector's edition stuff, and that seemed to work well but I'm fine with him at a smaller size.

YAY!! I got my fox kit tonight! after a month of killing foxes while doing my dailies it finally dropped! totally adorable! and no more killing those poor foxes!!..I'm so happy!

i've farmed foxes for hoursss on both my hunter and my pet collecting paladin. almost gave up when someone in my guild linked it and asked "what's this?".....RAGE.

a really good thing to keep in mind: if you have just done Tol Barad, don't forget that you are still in a raid group and start slaughtering foxes. if the pet drops, everyone in the raid will get to roll on it. my heart breaks for whoever that might've happened to haha.

I was fairly lucky in getting it to drop with a combination of fox kills while doing dailies and more concentrated farming while waiting for the TB battle to be over.
