anyone else notice that when you dismount to attack a npc ur pet seems to have a very very reduced level for 5-10 seconds getting it pwnd very fast along with doing little to no dmg. example. my terropene has 100k hp, when dismounting it has 7.5k hp and registers as full health getting it one shotted by most npcs anlong with missing all its attacks and only doing 50dmg or so. this happens on all my pets. its getting very very annoying i got a ticket open about it.
ill try to get a SS of it.

I've had that happen. I hate it - it doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it makes me sad... And sometimes dead.

Yeah it happens, the easy way to avoid it until they fix it is simply to try avoid dismount while having an aggroed monster very close

yeah i tend to start my attack while mounted, old habits die hard lol

Yah I hate that glitch and annoyingly enough it happens more often then not another thing is when you call your pet.. my ghostcrawler met a worm when he came out.. he went squish extremely fast and I was left with a lvl 85 to kite lol .. it can also do that so your best bet is to make sure whenever you call your pet or land that there are no mobs around. Itll prevent much death and heart break.

It's a well-known bug that's been occurring on and off since at least TBC, and despite repeated forum posts recently on the EU (probably US too) hunter forums, a fix hasn't been applied.

One was attempted but made pets immortal so got removed >.>

Happens to me all the time. Very frustrating.

I get this glitch on my warlock and hunter. It sucks when it doesn't convert back quick enough.

Had this happen to me a lot, mostly while doing those darn dailies in Tol Barad.

YES!!! i wish blizz fixed it, but this seems like one of those things that cant be hotfixed.

I've only really noticed it this Xpack to be honest... if it happened previously it must be happening 100x more now :/ I very rarely if every actually call out my pets with their correct health any more. Bleh.

as long as they're aware that it isn't restricted to Hunters, but to all pet classes.
I have had this problem with my Warlock for well over a year.

the reply i got said hunter class, ya might wanna open a ticket of ur own about it.

If the word soon appears in blue letters, then I think you can safely make an assumption there. After all, this bug isn't recent by any stretch of the imagination.

this bug may not be new, but it has become much more prominent since cata. which i would think would push them for a fix.
