Does Murphy have a sense of humor or what?

When I tamed Terrorpene some time ago, I realized that Murphy seems to have a sense of humor. The first time he spawned, I was walking off from the computer, but had unplugged my headphones just in case. I got 2 steps away, and npcscan went nuts! Sadly, that Terrorpene was killed while I was taming. I sat there and camped another 13 hours and he spawned again, right as I was flying off to check his other spawn point. This time I got him!

Fast forward to today. I've been camping Karoma off and on for several days (over a week, a couple hours at a time). I got up to grab a bite to eat since I hadn't all day. I was so discouraged I didn't bother unplugging my headphones. Went to the kitchen, started making lunch for myself. I just got the oddest feeling and said what the heck, I'm gonna go do one more fly around of her points. As I'm approaching my computer, I notice npcscan had gone off while I'd been away. I quickly got to my computer, thinking the whole time it was probably another hunter taunting me or that someone had killed her in my absence. Lo and behold, there she is! I drop off my mount and realize that I'm not BM spec! I had gone SV for some heroics last night. I change spec, all the while afraid someone would kill her. Apparently miss click on my ice trap and started the tame with her eating my face. Luckily, it got off without any problems.

My, does Murphy have a sense of humor these days!

this seems to happen a lot. about a year ago I was camping the TLPD and I got up from the computer to make lunch and while I was away I hear a noise come from my computer I remember thinking "what if that's the drake" but I decided there was no way it was so I didn't go and check, after I finished making lunch I comeback to my computer to find TLPD on my NPCscan pop-up, I targeted him to find he had already been killed .
