What would you like? (Spirit Beasts aside because that's an obvious choice)

For me, FREAKIN SHALE SPIDERS.

That's a tough one...all of these would be cool to see as nonexotic pets. But I think I would have to say the devilsaur. They are just too cool for only bm hunters to have but then it would make it harder for all those people still hunting for that beauty krush.

Mm.. I'd have to go with worms.. Just an obvious choice for me as they don't really bring anything to the raid like a friendly buff. I.E. Kings, Fortitude and Bloodlust whereas Shale Spiders, Silithids and Core Hounds do.

Shale spiders for sure and this is coming from a BM.

Picked the rhino.. I only ever play BM so I want to keep all of the awesome ones to mahself! >:3

Shale spiders, 'cause as much as I think my Jadefang is cute I really have no logical reason to keep her if I happened to need space in my stables. :X

Shale Spider, because they only have one ability anyway. Any of the others would have to lose an Exotic ability to become a non-BM pet, and nuh uh, no wai. BM is already lower DPS than the other two. I'm not losing my extra 'buffbot' ability on top of that!

To be honest I'm not entirely sure why... there are exotic tenacity pets. BM relies so heavily on their pet for damage. It's sort of a little lame that so many exotics are tenacity.

For the looks? Corehounds. For the abilities?.. None, that wouldn't be fair.

I'd love ALL species to be available for all specs. BUT: every beast should have an exotic ability available to BM hunters only. That way all hunters would be able to use their favorite skins anytime while BMs would benefit more even from common pets.

I really wanted to say shale spider, but I think it's mostly because I'm picking up way too many tenacity pets. XD If anything looks "exotic" I think it's those beasties.


Upon further consideration, I voted for worms. I haven't had the urge to be non-BM in a while, but when I was Surv I really liked the idea of an AE damage pet (oh my poor Sporebats ...) so I think it'd be neat if everybody's pet could do at least some AE damage.

I would pick NONE but its not an option.

Core Hounds beyond a shadow of a doubt. Useful in certain circumstances, rarely used but very cool looking.

Let's not start that argument again.

If a change was to happen, I would give you all those pets, provided they lost the special ability, AND all other pets gained a special ability when used as BM.

If one of those did change and retained the special ability, BM would be meaningless, again.

Yeah... I wasn't interested in talking about them losing abilities or gaining abilities, it was more of a "when I'm not BM, I miss ___ pet the most, sometimes I am sad it is not BM only". Not supposed to be a "BM is better rawr" vs "nuh uh BM are dumb lawl" war -_-

Relax, folks, I don't think this is a QQ or serious thread. Just one of those "what-if" things with a fancy poll to go along with it.

I voted shale spider because they already only have one ability as it is. If it was for looks, though, I'd have to say worm, probably. Not sure why, they just don't seem very "exotic" to me.

Edit: Oops, typed my response before voting, then accidentally voted worm instead of shale spider. I fail on so many levels.

OK, the argument starts. Let's give you shale spiders and spirit beasts, because why should only pallies and druids bring those buffs, and on and on.. yes, lets' take half the BM talent away from BM.

You want it all don't you? SV damage and BM pets.

I still think a Summon all pets for 15 seconds or so ability for BM hunters would be pretty sweet
