Fishing dailies, is there any point?..

Assuming your are at 525, and you've done the prior Shat/Dal fishing dailies and have the hat and a pole, etc., is there any reason to do the new fishing dailies? I've been checking El's Anglin, and I can't find a reason to bother with them.
I think all the fishing I'll do now is just when I need food...

Nope, there's no reason to fish if you already have a good pole and a hat. You could still do it for the minipets, I guess, but those are in Dala and Shatt, so yeah, fishing is useless now. I'm hoping they do something about that.

Yeah, I have all 5 minipets (4 crocs and the crawler).
Here's hoping they add something interesting. Right now they didn't even add the valuable vendor-trash loot. Probably because the quests are for low-level toons as well. So, it's pretty lame now.
I have enough cooked eel to last me a month or more, so...

Actually, you can get the strand crawler from the Stormwind dailies. I got mine just the other day.

You should let the folks at El's Anglin know that. Not sure it's known.
But the point remains, they didn't add anything new...

Yeah, if you have the hat and crab pet already, just don't bother.

I'll gladly do them for the bonus points they add to fishing skill. At high levels, 1 skill points = 5 to 10 minutes of fishing. Any time I can save from trying to skill up on this is gold in my opinion.

Correction here- I did get the crawler from the Org fishing daily, so I believe that you may be able to get the other mini-pets there as well.
