I've been a hunter since 2006 and have had alot of different pets in that time. I've made this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Go4e4sb4VTA youtube video ranking my top 15 to date. Would be interested to see how many people agree with the rankings I have given. I love discussing hunters on the net its always fun to learn more about my favourite class.

Hmm, I'll have to choose my top 10, it'll be fun to see how everyone's vary.

here are ten pets I find striking, in no particular order:

red bat
scarab beetles
blue dragonhawk
ant silithid
olive spider
crab spirit beast
green sporebat
purple tallstrider
ancient sea turtle
green warp stalker

the funny thing is I only have five of those in my stable

I agree with all of those, except number one, seven and nine. REALLY NOT one. Yuck. Begone, foul vomitface!

Other than that (especially #1), a nice list. :)

Here's my top 10 best looking pets.
1. Spirit Leopard(Loque'nahak)
2. Spectral Saber Worg(Skoll)
3. Spirit Wolf(Karoma)
4. Dark Striped Cat(Shadowclaw)
5. Maned Cat(Sambas)
6. Black Wolf(Snarler)
7. Red Worg(Barnabus or Ember Worg)
8. Blue Runed Demon Dog(Mage Slayer)
9. Grey Raptor(Takk The Leaper)
10. Grey Fox(Ashtail)(For the record, I think it should be named Blue, not Grey cause it looks like a royal blue color)

Mine... I dunno. xD I like a lot of them equally. Terrorpene, Sambas, Madexx, Karoma, and Chromaggus are all favorites though.

For me it is as follows:

Oh, I forgot about the ember worg, would have had it on my list if I had remembered. And that is one of my favorite raptor skins--I have half a grey raptor (Gundrak Raptor)

Old Cliff Jumper has been, and probably always will be, my favorite wolf.

out of all the worgs, that one always appealed to me. The others just look ugly(except OCJ). Hehe. I got the blue/violet raptor too on Taluwen. x3 Tis gorgeous but my favorite raptor is Takk.

Hehe. I love me some spirit beasts, some more than others. Plus a lot of unloved pets dont get the recognition they should.

Hmm... my top ten.

1) Terrorpene
2) Red Lynx
3) Skoll
4) Ironhide Devilsaur
5) Madexx
6) Chromaggie
7) SpiteFlayer
8) Sambas
9) Black Hawk
10) Undead Eagle

Might change some of these after a while, but I'm liking the basic list. The standard Silithid might have made my list if they hadn't broken the walking animation.

My rankings would be;

#1: King Krush
#2: Chromaggus
#3: Core Hound [Red/Orange]
#4: Loque'nahak
#5 Soll
#6: Gezzarak
#7: Shale Spider[s]
#8: Purple Crocolisk
#9: Golden/Yellow Worm
#10: Sambas

Though actually this just means the top ten pets I love the most off the top of my head [since I can't fit alot more there]

I get more comments on Terrorpene than any pet by far. Skoll is second with Arcturis right there but that is because everyone has already seen Loque and they know Karoma from shammies.

For me:

1. Loque - the classic and still the best
2. Karoma - wanted for soooo long
3. I forget
4. Gondria - grows on me more an more
5. Ghostcrawler/Arcturis - Big blue blur, little flat blur
6. Sambas - will probably move up the list over time, may have already
7. Terrorpene - chicks dig his rugged good looks
8. Skoll - debuted at #2
9. Aotona - pretty bird! pretty bird!
10. Ghost Saber - you know you all demanded to know where he came from that one day in Auberdine and leveled as fast as you could to tame it. He deserves a spot on someones list.

Madexx is not pretty

Some really great and interesting replies to my list. The Spirit beasts definately have their fans lol. I'm also considering making a video dedicated to all the pets that are now extinct because of the cataclysm.

Yeah. I found out WHY Olm The Wise is dead and gone. The goblins from the horde destroyed his habitat(where he used to spawn) and the Alliance Worgens are trying to fight them off with the help of the night elves. Kinda sad....

This is ridiculously hard once I actually looked at all the pet looks. Having to deal with my bias toward my own pets didn't help. :/ Once I got beyond the top few is disintegrated cause while I liked 9 better than 10 I might like 10 better than 8 but 8 was definitely better than 9. >.<

The top 3 for me as far as looks are:
Loque'nahak
Grubthor(Yellow Worm)
ghostpaw(White Wolf) - The Ghostpaws in their natural habitat, Ashenvale, are one of the most striking and beautiful pets to me. Their fur seem to glow and almost be ethereal to me. Take em out of Ashenvale and the lighting they still look good but doesn't have that extra oomph; however, when I think of the skin I always think of when I first saw them in Ashenvale and how apt I thought the name was.

After that the list sorta degenerates and fluctuates, so what I'm going to do is list the first 7 looks that come to mind and not both with trying to figure out the comparisons of which is better or I'll be here all morning. >.<

Black Armored Pig
Dragonhawk
Condor
Outland Raptor

And of course I can immediately now think of other things that should be on that list, but I'm not going to touch it. You should see me at a restaurant. Unless I decide right off, I often have to resort to having a friend pick a random number to make a decision.
