The short, non-technical version is no, they do not have perfect control over everything. They have lots of money, which helps. They have lots of manpower, which helps. But nobody, anywhere, will ever have perfect control over things 24/7.

It sucks and it's frustrating a lot of people right now-- I'm one of them, nothing like spending 30 minutes trying to log in just to get booted back to the log-in screen-- but all signs point to Blizzard doing everything they can right now. They're working on it, and fingers crossed that it'll be fixed soon, but it's utterly unrealistic to expect them to instantly fix every single issue that arises. Especially when it's something moderately complex, which I assume it is given that it's such a patchwork of some stuff working while other very similar things don't.

Same thing happening to me right now. It happened last night, but it finally let me on, then it's broken again today... disappointing.

Yeah. Same here. Can't connect. However, my dad's account and my mom's account (Which share an authenticator.) work fine. My account and authenticator refuses to work. Sad too. I wanted to get into Outlands...
