( Sad story, dont read if you dont want to cry D: )

Walking home from school today I came across a beautiful lab/pug puppy.. laying on the side of the road. I tried calling my mom (shes an animal freak, just as I) to get her here, because honestly I couldnt tell if the little guy was unconsious or passed away. She never answered her phone so I ran the rest of the way and got her- waking her up from her nap- and we ran off to where I had seen the little pup. Clearly he had escaped, no tag on his collar and he was only a few months old (from what we can tell) He was just hit too, still soft and flexible.. a head on hit. QQ We called the SPCA and they took him away.. Sigh, How can someone hit an animal and just leave them there? Its so cruel.. :( Atleast hes in a better place qq

That's very sad. :(

But it means the world that you stopped to check on him. Too many people would have just passed by. :(

Poor little guy. Some people shouldn't be allowed to own animals.

How heartbreaking. :( Rest in peace dear puppy!

This is not to defend or anything of the sort so please don't take this that way but be mindful that a person driving a large vehicle just may not have seen the poor puppy or if the pup had come from the side. (Warning this may be gross) Also the pup may not have been large enough for it to be felt when the puppy was hit. Cannot fault someone truly if they didn't know. Again not defending or saying this is the case just throwing it out there.

But God speed dear puppy. :(

That's how one of my dogs was killed. :-( Truck hit her, the driver wouldn't have been able to see her.
Poor thing... I hope it didn't suffer.
