So i was just sitting on a rock in the lava minding my own business when my NPCscan went off and it was terrorpene so i readied up the corehound and used ancient hysteria abandoned it then started taming 1 second left on the tame shaking with excitement when suddenly a worgen swoops out of the air shoots the turtle and ninjas the tame.

I'm so sorry. People can be horrible.

Ugh, I'm so sorry! It's terrible how rare-hunting brings out the worst in people. I wish it were the opposite, where people learned to work together and help each other. Makes the whole experience more enjoyable for everyone.

You'll get him someday, don't worry.

Wow that really sucks, people can be so mean these days it seems. I'm sorry about losing Terror, but you'll get him soon enough I'm sure.

I would have killed him. Sure, keeps competition out there blah blah but I'd rather deny a ninja'd tame then let him get off the market on a dirty tame.

I hate killing rare spawns but I would have obliterated that turtle

I would have probably wound up reporting said worgen. Not that I expect Blizzard to do anything more than give that hunter a slap on the wrist if that, but I'm not going to let him get away with a stunt like that so easily.

Yeah, I'd probably have done the same - or at least killed it trying to get it back. >< Why should he profit from my loss? Granted, I'm normally a giant friggin' Carebear but man...

Though, I suspect that makes the OP a better person than me. ;P

Edit: And I want Terrorpene, I'm just terrified of trying because every time I go out there, like 3 hunters park on me...

You really, really should report them. If enough players report or complain about this stealing a tame in progress bull sh** maybe Blizzard will finally freaking do something to prevent it. It's not right and shouldn't be allowed. Make a creature invisible to others while it's being tamed-they phased plenty of stuff already-or make that creature untargetable by others while a tame is in progress. If the creature kills the tamer, then let it be availble again, but not while in tame, that is jsut tacky.

Don't let them bully you. If you really want him-and he is an amazing little guy I adore mine and I never cared for tank pets before-then go and get him. If you let the other hunters intimidate you, you'll never get him, even if he is up and nobody else is around.

Camp! Hunt the rare! YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Maybe, but if there's one thing I've learned about human nature, it's that there are some people who are better than me, and that's fine - because being that good is just too much dang work.

i went on my friends horde toon and killed him while he was taming karoma so all is good (only because my other friend started the tame and he tried to ninja it.)

That is such a brutal story I feel bad for you dude.

reporting would have gotten a lol outta GM there nothing to report, he was faster than you is about what it boils down to and is part of the game. for all you know he was camping him and ya should of taged him to prevent a ninja. im sorry it happened to ya, theres always next time

Dude, that's pretty harsh. Are you always this friendly? 'Well, someone stole your tame. SHOULDA BEEN FASTER SORRY.' And in case you didn't know, you can still tame something even if it's tagged to someone else as far as I've seen. So even if the other guy couldn't tame, he'd probably have killed it.
