Shale spiders finally to get a special ability!

Quite some time ago I speculated that the ability would be a "blind", to double-up the monkey ability. It would seem I'm about to get proven wrong. According to the 4.0.6 PTR patch notes, shale spiders will get
"Web Wrap". This is the same ability used in Azjol-Nerub ("AN") where someone gets all webbed up and has to be broken out (or sit tight for 10sec). MMO was wrong. Cialbi found the actual
Web Wrap ability. Sorry for the confusion.
It's an interesting choice, and I imagine shale spiders will become quite a popular PvP pet as a result, given they have the "Blessing of Kings" equivalent as their exotic ability. Well, that is assuming that BM spec is actually viable - I seem to be a sitting duck to any mage who has silence & poly on their bar...

I checked the first two pages (the only ones with new posts on them) for anything with "shale" in the title before I posted. Link thread or it didn't happen!
I admit I was late to the party compared to the fox thread however. Didn't read that one until well after I'd posted. :-/
Any evidence to back up the "standard three second stun" claim? The ability linked by MMO was definitely to the stun+webbed ability. I'll be annoyed if I added the wrong ability to Pet Ability List...

I linked the ability as found on ptr.wowhead.com in the foxy thread. It's a three-second stun with a 45 second CD (which is really going to be a 31.5 second CD) and a 30 yard range. It blows the socks off Sting and Sonic Blast.

Thanks Cialbi. I didn't get that one to show up when I searched on the wowhead PTR site. Boo, means I got the wrong on in Pet Ability List. *goes to fix that*

glad they fixed this pet, should be interesting sending my Jadefang after an ally...
now all they have to do is fix ghostcrawler and I am all set.
