Found a couple of new pets inside of Uldum on the PTR. 2 of the them are color changers. One is a scorpid that uses the blue or brown skin of the horde scorpid mount while the other is a beetle that uses the Yauj Brood color and the Silithid Defender color. Another is a wasp with the same skin as the Sapphire Hive Wasps in Sholazar Basin.

Hey look it's the blue Maddexx look o.o;
Curious to see this when it comes around- wonder if all the maddexx colors will be imputed and what will become of Madexx himself

Neat info! I personally prefer more tamable beasts as a general rule, but I don't know how others are going to take the news of the Venomscale Spitter. Can't even find that scorpid on ptr.wowhead.com yet!

Oh, and Madexx had better not spawn in Venomscale Spitter colors...

As I would love to have a Sambas Black model, I'd prefer it if it wasn't Humar, rather make a new NPC or change pitch.

Damn, I don't think I still can leave Madexx alone even with the new scorpids around, but I'm really very happy they added those. I would love to see if white and black Sambas would be possible, someday. O.O

Oh man, that's so not cool. I've grown to love my blue Madexx but a good part of that is how rare and difficult he was to obtain. Now he's going to be the same as every other scorpid there x_x

Wait wait, I can finally get a Blue Madexx and not have to fight every single miner on my server to finally tame him?

I'm... excited. Now I can get my blue scorpid too. And my green madexx will remain special.

At the same time... I feel really bad for folks with blue/bronze madexxes. :/ I know how bummed I was when they added Pitch to Sholozar after camping Humar.

I hope the green Madexx makes an non-rare appearance...

Not trying to burst anyone's bubble, but if you tamed a brown or blue Madexx you will still have Madexx. If you tame one of these new scorpions you won't have Madexx.

It all comes back to the NPC ID everyone is so crazy about... people still go out and tame King Mosh just to have Mosh... when there are other red devilsars out there.

I personally don't care if I have Madexx or not at this point as long as I have his skin (hopefully in green)... being in Uldum for over 3 weeks and dealing with everyone and their dog killing Madexx has made me not care if I tame Madexx or a cheap version of Madexx that is being sold in an alley.

Well, seeing as the blue and bronze versions of Madexx have their own NPC IDs, I can see Blizzard either removing them from the wild and recoloring them to one of the other Madexx skins, or giving them new skins. I think the latter would be the least controversial, if you ask me. Although, I suppose Rhyela wouldn't mind having bronze Madexx being recolored as green Madexx

Cool, you found them I was gonna ask you to check if that had happened. They should hopefully all be that stable tan/yellow colour now. All the colours they were previously are available on mobs elsewhere. This tan/yellow has never been in the game on a tameable mob before.

Yep, there are also new Crocolisk called Oasis Crocolisk, comes in 2 colors and Rabid Hyena, also comes in 2 colors. Uldum got updated with more monsters.

One thing that makes the 'new Madexx models' upsetting to *me* is that Madexx is around the same level as they are. Pitch and Humar, you can get at VASTLY different levels. Same as Slaverjaw and the Uldum hyenas. Madexx and these? ... you can't. So that's actually one bit of sadness for me.

Wain, do you by chance know if the blue and bronze scorpions are the only colors on the regular non-rare scorpions?

Oh, and I REALLY like the above idea of Blizzard changing the colors of the NPC IDs of the bronze and blue Madexxes (Madexii? Madexxs?)
