WoW Petopia Community

I thought I'd start a sticky for Mania so that everyone can post the new pets in one easy-to-read place.

Please only post the necessary information (mob name, location, skin, link to original thread, etc).
Leave commentary and such to the other threads.

Note: I'll be tidying this thread up, so if you see a post of yours moved it's nothing personal, just wanting to stick with the info here. ^^

The following have been stated before (credit does not belong with me), but it wouldn't hurt to consolidate all this information:

• Rock Borers in Stonecore are tamable, and thus are unique for being the only shale spiders that can be tamed by a level 82 BM hunter.
• Dreadtusk is actually tamable, and as such is the lowest level boar that can be tamed with that specific skin.
• Silithid Swarmers (the so-called 'ant silithids') are still marked as untamable in the Petopia database.

I can personally testify to the fact that Rock Borers are tamable, having tamed one myself at level 82.

Well, these updates have all been made now, so

The Devilsaur Queen is now tameable!

Okay, went through and grabbed a bunch of the changes from that thread (I take no credit for these discoveries, just listing them here)

• The Razza (rare elite Chimaera from Feralas) now uses the White Outland model.
• Olm the Wise now uses the Spirit Owl model. [Note: Was found from a stabled pet, still no info on spawn point in the wild]
• Mistwing Ravagers in Azshara (previously brown Chimaera models) are now the unused Beige Skin.
• The Evalcharr (rare Chimaera in Azshara) now uses the unused Green Skin.
• Hell-Hoot in Winterspring is now sporting the Purple Owl model.
• Death Ravager, the lovely blue Ravager on Azuremyst, is now tameable!
• Bladewing Bloodletters in Blade's Edge Mountains now use the Yellow Outland Chimaera model.
• Swiftwing Shredder wind serpents in Netherstorm are now the unused Black Outland model.

Rock Borers in Stonecore Heroic are also tameable, allowing you to tame a level 85. Not a unique skin, but still a change/mention!

Someone will need to do a detailed list from Uldum.

The unused tan scarab skin is now available there.
A new color-changer scarab has also been added, orange to tan (not the same tan as above).
A new scorpid with the Madexx skin has been added, color changer from blue to brown.
One of the blue Sholozar wasps has been added along the river.
Crocs added to the river/swamp in the NW corner, croc expert needs to check if these are new to Uldum.
MANY beasts have been added, including introduction of previously used hyena skins to Uldum, so at least there are likely some of these at higher levels than before.

Zaricotl the MIA carrion bird from Badlands is now using the white skin http://www.wow-petopia.com/images/skin_ ... nwhite.jpg, not sure about his location, checked from stabes. Barnabus and Broken tooth as of todays ptr build have old skinns, i will be checking back though;) and Thank you Mania for your great website!

Death Maw, Used to be black worg in burning steppes, is now the brown worg skin that was before untameable

Silithid Harvester has a new model, and has turned to a tameable beetle. Another skin that hadn't been used before this!

Barkmutt in Twilight Highlands is now properly flagged as a beast and is tamable. Level 85 black saber worg. On live its classified as a humanoid.

Sian-Rotam should probably be taken off the tamable list seeing as he's still MIA.

In Winterspring, at The Hidden Grove, there are white foxes (like the ones at Gilneas) called 'Snowfrolic Fox'. Level 52 and tameable.

In Howling Fjords, the dog-pet of Pontius, 'Fiend', is a tameable *Blue* demon dog. Alliance-tameable only, I'm sure.

Thanks for the correction. My eyes saw grey, so I wrote down 'grey'. He has the same skin. He's just tameable now where apparently he wasn't before.

New white gorilla skin, Tsul'Kalu, located in Stranglethorn:

Mahamba, new 'Blue Cataclysm crocodile' rare spawn, located in Stranglethorn (above Venture Base camp on the riverbank):

Pogeyan, the fire spirit, is a completely new tan skinned kitty with red glowing eyes and a bowed head. Located directly west of the Tkashi Ruins.

^^ The above seems to be TigerSkinBrown on the hunched/glowing eyes model.

Spawn timer on the three "spirits" appears to be ~3h. So expand that to whatever appropriate window.
