People wanted a spirit gorilla? Your prayers are answered!



... sort of. As you will notice from his Beast Lore tag, he is actually a gorilla, rather than a Spirit Beast. However, he is a low-level (28) way of getting hold of a white gorilla skin. And considering he's tagged as 'The Earth Spirit', you never know....

I located this beauty here:



He doesn't pat; just paces about a bit.

Three is a quest involving three animal spirits: Tsul'Kalu (the ape), Mahamba (the croc), and Pogeyan (the cat). I wonder if the other two are out there as well. Time to continue exploring!

I'm curious as to what the Cat spirit will be.

Huh, maybe if they do 'ice' we might get that 'ice cat' model that is currently unused in game.

And does that croc only have four legs? O_O

The spirits, as I found them, are named Here, in this quest. Pogecyan, according to this, is either air or fire.

I'm still flying loops. I've yet to find the cat, but after finding those two, I'm *certain* he's out here!

so we have two out of the tree mentioned of the quest, there might be a new rare it wasn't there before...PLEASE GIVE IT THE GOLDEN OR ICE SKIN!!!!!!....please? wouldn't be surprised if that's where it shows up^^

It's just the angle, hehe. Definitely has the regular amount of 6 legs. 4 would just be freakish.

Ordinary cat. With bowed head. And glowy eyes.

Aww... I'm not too impressed and think I can pass on that guy. Never liked the fuzzy backed lions, and I have my shiny, hunched tiger already.

He is pretty in his own way though. Nice find!

Odd, it appears that the Cat is not a rare mob in comparison to the other two... Could it be due to him being used in a quest?

I... I actually really like that cat and I couldn't tell you why. o_o Wow. Great finds!

For the record, I went and shot the gorilla down. I wanted to A) set a spawn timer, and B) see what sort of loot they drop. If all stays equal, we can happily tell people not to kill them, as the gorilla dropped absolutely nothing. Not even a grey.

And you're right. The cat *isn't* rare. He's not used in a quest that I know of, though. o.O Wonder if that's an error, or if they made him a normal spawn knowing how many people would want him.

I can't decide on that cat.... it's so shiny but it's haunched and the standard lioness colour as the base. Take away the glitter and it's a haunched lioness.

Also, to those curious: the quest itself only mentions three critters. If there is a fourth (wind) god, then it's not said there! And... I didn't go hunting for it. Maybe there is one last one out there to find!
