Anyone have an idea how long it takes him to respawn one site says that he is a 'rare'

But my friend just tamed him and he was not a silver dragon. I want one for my lowbie hunter too!

I don't really know about Ghost Howl's respawn time, but here's a bit of info on him:

He USED to be a rare spawn. This was changed because he drops an item that leads into a quest. So he probably has a fairly low spawn time now.

Actually, he's ALWAYS dropped the item

I've been around there a few times; the respawn rate when he was a rare was probably a few hours, but now that he's lost his silver portrait, I can normally find him. It's still a longish respawn, perhaps even a half hour. But I generally find him East of Thunder Bluff, pathing widely around the Grimtotem camp (near the small Horde quest giver camp).

If by corpse-run you mean die repeatedly then good luck But I heard a rumor on here last week or so, in case you're trying it by the run-as-a-ghost-relog-and-gy-res trick; apparently that way may have been fixed. I recall someone saying they ghost-ran across half of a continent, logged back in and were sent back to where they died upon ressing : /

i just asked very nicely in trade chat a few times on my new lowbie goblin, and a kind person offered to fly me to teldrassil and dump me out haha. worth a shot!

The key is to think about Ghost Howl. On my lowbie Paladin BovineBeauty, i thought "Hey not seen Ghost Howl yet I wodner whre he is." Take two steps forward and hey presto there he goes.

Thats what I think that I am going to have to do. Wasn't able to corpse run that far over the water after I kept dying, bah.

I've never seen a wild Sholazer rare bar Aotona who flew into my Starfall, twice My mother's Druid is the lucky one as she's forever getting stupidly low drop things, world drops, rares appearing...

No he's exactly the same bar lower level and not Rare.

On a related note, if anyone on Nagrand EU Horde-side ever needs a char (lowbie alt or not) flown to any strange pet-related locations, I'm happy to oblige. I have 310%, guild + speed and a Sandstone Drake and am always ready for adventure

He used to be transparent - but it was a looong time back, like 2006 or 2007; I vaguely remember it from my early days and I've been able to find comments from others dated back then talking about his transparency, but the only images I've been able to turn up were taken more recently.

I was in age old vanilla myself and I always remember him being solid... But this was back in 2005 or so mind.

yea u are right cause thas bout the time i started my hunter and she was just a few lvl's shy of being able to get grim.. back then... and i missed it i've been waiting for a few years for something like this i cant wait to catch that lil rascal.
