I've looked through a few pages of threads and was wondering what the spawn timer was on Jadefang, Sambas, and Madexx and I was wondering if we could compile all information in one thread. I know there Locations due to NPCscan. I am just looking for a decent enough timer on them. Any info would help.

I don't think there's really a known timer on any of the Cataclysm rares yet, but the common guess is anywhere from 6-24 hours.

I think Jade is about 6 hours. I only sat for 4 today and she popped. I"ll head back some day for the pet but I'm not in a hurry for that. Madexx seems to be running 6-9 based on my kill reports and carcass sightings... Sambas? donno. I got him both times on fly by.

Thanks yea. Terrorpene was a 6 hour spawn for me so I guess I just wait the six hours for the others and take it from there.

i was afk for 5 mins and someone tamed jadefang during my camp at 3:10pm yesterday. probably thought it was weird to see the petless hunter not moving >_>

went back at 8:00 pm last night and stayed put watching movies in the background until i went to bed at 3 am. woke up at 10:30ish this morning and immediately logged in to jadefang's cave, with no jadefang in sight. i have been sitting here all day and have only left once for my random heroic with some guildies!

even if it was tamed during any of the hours i was sleeping, or during my very short heroic (gotta love guild groups), i would still be past the 6 hour mark. so try not to get your hopes up for that 6 hour on the dot spawn, like i always do.

i have to go raid in an hour. (((((((((((((((

EDIT: TAMED HIM! 7:39pm and only 21 mins before i have to leave to raid. woo!

I saw Jadefang dead at ~9.15 pm. At 3.00 - 3.45am, no spawn. Went to bed. No 6 hr spawn.
Woke up at 7.00 am. Quick check, nada.
Went back at ~10.20... SURPRISE! Tamed with a ~13 hr respawn time.

I will try to not get my hopes up. Hope its not a 12-13 hours spawn.

the three times i have seen sambas have all been 13 hour respawns, maybe that is the magic number...?

While camping Madexx for the red colour (it's a horrible thing to get your heart set on one colour!) I saw what could only have be 3 spawns in a row. The following is EU realm time, Sylvanas.

16:58 - Green at the top left spawn point. Tamed straight away.

02:58 - Brown at the top left spawn point. Was killed by a paladin about 4 mins later I skinned so I knew when he reset.

15:02 - Brown again, middle top spawn point.

So he spawned for me at the same time of the hour he reset every time, 10 hours first time, 12 hours the second time. I haven't seen him since

My sister tamed Jadefang at 2:20pm server and I seen it up at 10:30pm server the same day, not sure when it spawned he was already up when I logged on my hunter.

The fastest I saw Madexx respawn was 5 hours and 50 minutes. I tamed black at 4:28 p.m. on a Saturday. A friend went back that night a bit early to look and tamed green at 10:18 p.m.

So even the minimum of six hours is give or take. Could apparently be even sooner than that! I tend to think she just got VERY lucky though.
