So I followed the taming rustberg seagull guide, and had awesome help from griffguy, convicted and pygmy from proudemoore in taming it. (those guys are awesome, best server ever!)


I tamed one that is perching on the dock, and I noticed after taming my bird flies when I move and it will perch when I stop moving!


after death though I was deeply saddened that the pet quickly forgotten it can perch when I stop moving.

So if you want to keep the pet's perch, make sure you don't let self die after the tame!

o well after hearth it forgotten it can perch too o lol

I really think all flying pets should land when the hunter is still.

BUWAHAHAH, I tamed one of those when i was doing dailies in Tol Borad. I named it MineMineMine... its so cute i had to get it ....

Thirded. I've slowly worked most of my flappy pets out of my stable due to this.

well, he is only lv 14, so the mobs there are WAY higher then him, which resaulted in the 12k hit.

But that is funny that it will perch for the first bit after taming. Really wish they kept that...birst really do need to rest thier wings now and then.

Just give us back the real flying, that would be better..

Oooh, count me with the others with "I would use a flappy pet if they would sit down every now and again"!
