Just saw this on wowhead while trying to ascertain why Madexx (...you cruel mistress...) won't spawn for me.

"Maddexx's Brown and Blue colorations will be used by common scorpids in Uldum come next patch....however the new scorpids are color changers when tamed. Maddexx is still the only source of permanent versions of these two colors. - Magmakilro 8 days ago"

So.... I am trying to confirm this with other sources, but figured I'd post it here to see if anyone knew anything. Anyone on the PTR able to confirm?

This is confirmed, there's a thread about it somewhere...
Also.
All existing Blue Madexx's will be changed to a different color as well, I think red?
And all Brown Madexx's will be color changed as well.
The only way to get the Blue and Brown ones will be by getting the Color-changer.

Lupis is sort of wrong, according to Wain. Just read Wain's post on page 5 of this thread.

Thats actually kind of cool. I was tired of Madexx having a monopoly as all forms

Woops! Looks like things changed when I wasn't looking.
Ignore me.

Going into patch 4.0.6:

- All tamed Madexxes retain their original color
- The new common scorpids will be a stable bronze color (I believe they will not spawn in blue anymore)
- Madexx will still spawn in all five colors

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!
