What kind of pets do you wish they would add to make tameable?

I would looooove to tame a panda.

Ooh ooh, and a red panda could be rare!

I mean, cmon. There's a panda cub companion pet.

I want one so bad, I have a polar bear named NakedPanda.

To be honest, I don't want them to add anything to make tameable. I want them to make some of what's already in the game tameable! Maybe once some of those are added, I'll be more interested in having a new family/mob added.

Well. OK. I'll correct myself a little bit: I *do* hope that they will add some new skins for some of the old mobs. But I don't want those 'new skins' to be a whole nother family. Just, for instance, more sporebats, more devilsaurs, more types of rhino.

I'd like to see some of the beast models they've had roaming around for years finally made tameable.

More ungulates would be my preference, especially talbuks, stags and rams.

It'd be nice to see some more skins for existing families, possibly an update to some of the old models but also without removing the old models completely as I know a lot of people are very attached to them

I want clefthoofs added to rhino family. >.>
Also, I've always wanted to tame a Basilisk since I did that quest to kill em in Terokarr Forest.
But, those are existing models in the game.

Hrmmm.... Fossa are pretty awesome.

oooo, maybe a porcupine type animal. That would be cool.

This. I NEED rams, in particular. My favourite mount in the game, and if raptors and kitties are available, why not rams?
The black stags in Ashenvale (?) have had me drooling ever since i saw them the first time, and talbuks are just generally gorgeous.

Also, gryphons and hippogryphs. Perhaps wyverns too for those who care about them.

Oh yeah, forgot about those! Never liked worms much, but if I could have the unused purple skin, I'd be there in a heartbeat.

Via a new Hunter skill and various craftables via different professions depending on the beast, the ability to tame BoP, BoE and BoA mounts of various speeds and types in the wild... Imagine the depth that could add to not only Hunters, but the game itself. I remember fondly taming mounts for people in Ultima Online. I'd love to be able to do it in WoW...

I would love to see pandas added to the game, unfortunately at least as I understand it there is virtually no chance of this ever happening - because in China it is illegal to show pandas being hurt or killed on TV or in video games.

Which is why they show up as minipets, indirect references, icons etc - just things that don't actually take part in combat, and also is the reason why the Pandaren were included in the RPG but never made it into the MMORPG (something else that makes me sad - I'd love to roll a Pandaren).

Cool idea though.

On a somewhat related note my wish would be that I would like to see the bear model altered to stand up properly rather than having its forelegs bent in a perma-crouch; some people like the cute look that comes from them always scuttling around in-game with their giant rumps high in the air and their head down low, but to me it's just a waste of what could have been a very imposing, brutal looking animal - I mean, bears are one of the few RL creatures that don't need Samwise Didier to fit right in!

(and yes I know the crouch was probably done so the model was more "combat ready", but unlike with cats A) that's not a bear's normal combat stance - they like to come down from above and B) dogs have perfectly normal non-combat stances so why not bears?)

But the only thing I can see happening with that is a HUGE onslaught of hunters.
I've already seen everyone I know get on a hunter alt and camp pets.
It's been insane!

@ Worba: China has a different version of the game then the US does, because they're not allowed to see undead and certain areas there or near there like Korea are not allowed to have blood in the game so they have a special version and usually get the game much later than we do because of the special development on theirs.

I'd like to see the bear stand up on its hind-legs every once in a while, even if it's just when you're idle.
I totally get where you're coming from.

I'd also like to add that they should really fix the wolf mounts legs and the way Skoll walks/runs.
It's like he's paralyzed =/

I wish they would make the hydra and the oozeling mobs from that Sholazar Basin quest tameable again! I missed my chance with those because by the time I found out about it, Blizzard had already fixed it with a patch.

In game: Talbuks and Hippogryphs

Anything I ever wanted? a black jaguar. Not like the panthers in game, but a solid black one.

My WISH would be to have a black drake/dragon pet, but that won't be happening due to lore reasons

However, if someone asked me what my request was, I'd actually ask for a color-changing Old World worg that swapped between all colors. I have white, dark grey (OCJ) and intend to get brown (how, I don't know, considering my stable slots...), and would love to have the pale gray as well but my god, I already also have Snarler & Shattered Hand Warhound. If I could have one Old World worg that swapped between brown, white, dark gray, light gray, and perhaps even black/red, I'd be sooo happy

I know some people don't like color-changers, but I really like the idea in some cases (I LOVE the Sentry Worg in Northrend but I cannot justify having MORE wolves!).

mmmmmmmmm.... I wana tame a dolphin but that wont go well on land... I really want one tho! or a tamable flying creature and we can fly on it like a gryphon or wyvern

I would love to have water specific pets... Like a Shark, or those Anglers...

I want feathered tallstriders. Or pet hawkstiders. I would be very very happy with that.
