Pets with appearance buffs and server transfer?

I know the chances of somebody having actually done this and therefore being able to answer my question are extremely slim, but here goes.
I may have to move to a different server. I have Lone-Hunter-with-sword tamed. Would the sword go "poof" during the transfer process?

It shouldn't, I had copied my hunter with my oil-stained wolf to the PTR, and he stayed nice and oily.

It does not change- I got my Oil Wolf on a realm and then transfered a few days later, alls was good. With the Oil Wolf being a buffed pet it should be the same for any buffed pet; the buff will remain. :3 Only arenas will wipe it.. that is all ;o Have fun!

Can anyone confirm this is still the case after the recent hotfixes regarding buffed pets.

Awesome Lone Hunter aka Scabbard has kept his sword during faction and server transfer. Confirmed as of 08/26/2014
