There are some beasts in the game which I'd love to see made tameable at some point! Absolutely love the models and think they would make very cool looking pets!

Spore Walker - from Zangarmarsh

Pterrordax - from Un'Goro Crater

Hydra - should be an exotic (BM) pet

Dragon Whelp - they're so damn cute


I also thought the idea of an Alliance/Horde only pet would be quite cool, such as:

Faerie Dragon - Alliance only hunters may tame

Wyvern - Horde only hunters may tame

What do you guys/gals think? Any beast models you'd love to see made tameable? Would be interesting to see which are the most popular. Also, what beasts do you think would make good Alliance/Horde only pets. I picked mine as they are very iconic and feel they represent the factions well

I'd rock a Fairy Dragon all day. Give it a debuff that reduces hit or something, and I'm sold.

As for what I'd want; Deep Sea Murlocs. They're more monster than humanoid.

i would basically crawl over a mountain of rotting garbage to be able to tame a fairie dragon. :3

If Wyverns were made Horde only I would cry. XD I want a flying cat!

I would love wyvern pets though. Unfortunately I guess it shouldn't happen. If wyverns are added as pets, gryphons should be too etc etc.

I would do things that I wont put out in the public to get me a Hydra

Hydras should be pets. THEY SHOULD BE.

one thing im waiting on is an epic looking crock, like madexx but a crock, that would be epic.

A pterodax would be cool too.

Stags, talbuks, shoveltusks, they could all be put into one new family, possibly even with zhvera, rams and horses. Mainly I would like stags and talbuks though.

I Want one of those Cog Worms from DeepHolm! they would be EPIC, i fell in love when i saw them but was upset when it said "UnTamable" ='(

I have problems with tameable wyverns, sadly, even though I'd love to have one.

Wyverns are extremely dedicated to the Horde - the only exception is the wyverns in Halaa, which I like to think of as an oversight. Much like gryphons and the Alliance, in lore they refuse to serve the opposite faction. They're far more intelligent than their appearance leads one to think, and they share a common ancestor with the dragons. Their loyalties only falter when it comes to acquiring their eggs and cubs - they do not ever willingly give those up. I'd imagine it's a rite of passage for Horde wind riders and wind warriors to get their own mount, considering how it can very easily get you killed.

While I think it would be cool to have faction specific tames(gryphons and wyverns, I suppose, or wyverns and hippogryphs) I'm sure no one else here wants that, but it'd bother me to see the lore discarded just so the Alliance can have them as pets. >:

I did put in my post that Wyverns should be a Horde only pet Nubhorns, as I agree they shouldn't be tameable by Alliance, much as I thought the Faerie Dragon's shouldn't be tameable by Horde, as lore-wise it wouldn't work.

On a further level I think it would be cool to even have race specific pets, such as only Nightelves could tame Faerie Dragons, to make hunter's between races that bit more special, and make people think a bit harder about which hunter race they want to be if they want to use the race specific one! But I think that would upset too many people, as people like to be able to tame the same pets as everyone else

Night elves already have a special pet - their starter pet. That skin is otherwise only available on a rare spawn.

they all sound good exept for the dragon, blizz has allready added to the lore that dragons are not only not beast but they are also sentient. ie talking dragons including deathwing

Id kill for a hydra though.

Stags, Zhevras, Rams, Talbuks in one family
Basilisks and Diemetradons in the Crocolisk family
Pterrordaxes in the Carrion Bird family
Gyreworms in the Worm family

And some unique models for a few families:
A Spinosaurus model in the Devilsaur family
A stone/magma Gorilla model (look kind of like Obsidius from Godzilla: Unleashed)
A Turtle with the Sea Turtle body, Land Turtle legs, and grass, ridges and small trees on its back (Torterra!)

Hello everyone! I've rediscovered petopia and find...It's been exactly 1 year today that I joined the forums, yay! But on to new pets I'd love to see: Stags, Sporewalkers, more Sporebats, ditto on the Shoveltusks and Basilisks...and...how about, Flying fox/fruit bats? Or, fluffy arctic fox type foxes. Oh! And more dogs like beagles, great danes or basset hounds?

Edit: Also, more snakes please? Like this one.

I would go on a murderous rampage. A bloody, angry, murderous rampage. When my orc hunter first saw one of these, I chucked my beloved Gustiver into the stable to tame one. I almost cried irl when I saw I couldn't tame it.
