All the rares are back in their respective areas, many with some new changes. This beautiful bird has a brand new skin. And yet, traveling through and through and through Felwood, there is *still* no sign of this ghostly skin.

Anyone else having any more luck than me finding him since this new build? He's gotta be out there *some*where, right? .... right?

Right, having gotten that off my chest, I really hope you, or someone, manages to bump into Olm, since that ghostly skin is quite possibly one of the nicest skins of all time, ever. I LOVE it!

I circled around Felwood for an hour at the least, searching in every nook and cranny. Nothing yet...perhaps he's coming in a future build? Or he's hiding really well....or he's moved to a new zone...or his spawn timer is so long he hasn't even popped yet. *shrug*

For those that still have him... He IS still a bird of prey, correct?
I mean Blizz didn't pop a ninja species change to spirit beast did they? His new look certainly fits the bill.
That could also explain the elusiveness as well. I realize it's highly unlikely but I'm just hypothesizing.

If Olm was changed to an SB, all people who have Olm would now have an SB. Since all peeps who have Olm do not now have a spirit beast owl, the fear is somewhat moot and silly.

While I also had hoped to see the skin on an SB, it's not to far fetched for it to be on a normal owl. We have Ghost worms and Ghost wolves/cats It makes sense to have a Ghost owl, that way each family tree has a 'Ghostly' pet. Besides, Olm was murderfied by Goblins, that doesn't make you a spirit beast. It makes you ded :p

Unless Olm the wise was really Olm the Jedi pretending to be just your average owl. ;D

I did a few runs through there myself, and the neighboring druid town, and the tunnel with teddy bears, and even Winterspring and Hyjal. Nothing yet! -_-

I am just wondering if he may have moved to another area where the Cenarion Circle has now set up camp rather than back in Felwood. I will be checking once the patch hits live.

Thus far, the only rare to zone hop was Snort, who moved from the North Barrens to the South Barrens. And that doesn't really count, since it was all the Barrens before.

Chances are, Olm's still in Felwood. It's just a question of where in the zone.

This might be stupid.

But the one place this skin was in use (not as an actual mob, but decoration) was the big tower in Honor Hell in Hellfire P.

Anyone.. looked there?

Erf when I've done this quest I'll haul Moro over thar for a look see. Had no luck in Felwood at any rate.

I also am in this zone, since most the MIA pets are now accounted for (the murderous blisterpaw from Tanaris being the only other one left MIA if im not mistaken).

I saw Veph on that flying horse zippin by me once haha

but yeah im in there to. im sure others have as well but I did see that rare ooze in Felwood, The Ongar, so thats a glimmer of hope that its not a barren rareless zone like some zones were earlier.

Yeah, definitely not rareless, Death Howl's been up nonstop on this realm (Brill EU, PTR) for weeks.

Incidentally, although I too cannot find Olm, I did check the stupid demon cave system--and while I'm not sure how new it is, there's now a portal back OUT of the caves at the very end. It punts you out to Wildheart Point, so don't fear checking through there

Edit--I'll also be checking Moonglade, Winterspring and Hyjal. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to find him with the other birds circling Aviana's shrine!

Nope cant find Olm.. he is still bird of prey so thats good. And I checked the one in honor hold but sadly no you cant even click him.
Npcscanner said Felwood when I took out mine but that could just be because thats where he was before so just kinda take it as a grain of salt.
I am hoping we find the little guy or actually big guy accoriding to my npcscanner...
