WoW Petopia Community

Decided to camp TLPD yesterday, but itwas getting late so I went to bed. Woke up now, started following his path (NPCScan Overlay is the most amazing thing ever), when suddenly it goes off on Dirkee. Already had Dirkee in Frostbitten, so I grabbed the first gnome who flew by and invited him. Started killing Dirkee, he was dead and the gnome got Northrend Exposure, plus a nice blue caster ring. He thanked me, felt good man.

Onwards to my circling, when there he is, in all his glory, his majesty - the Skoll. Always get thrills when I see him, I knew someone has to have him. Killing him was out of the question. No hunters were around, so I did a /who hunter 85. Nearest one was in Borean, whsipered them. They sadly already had Skoll, so I thoguth. I asked in guild chat, the only hunter around wasn't high enough. Then I did a /who hunter 80, and voila, one in Boread Tundra. Whispered him/her (gonna go with her because of character), if she had BM and wants Skoll.
She said yes and yes, invited her, she flew by asap (about 3-4 mins, seemd like 15 to me), I was always ready to tag Skoll incase someone flew by.

And Bam! She arrived, tamed Skoll, thanked me, I added her incase I see more pets. She also mentioned she had been after Skoll for days, so it only adds to the awesomeness.


I just love a hunter who knows their stuff and the importance of Skoll.

Very Nice!! I had a somewhat similar situation last night. I was doing my dailies in Twilight and there goes my npc scan,, its Sambas!!!!. Well I got that fuzzy kitty a couple of weeks ago so I went over a got it in a freeze trap and I did a general chat for and lvl 85 hunter and one responded. I told them I had Sambas trapped if they wanted it. They came over and did the tame and said they were looking for it for weeks. Come to find out the hunter was the girlfriend of one of my Guildmates. It was especially cool that I was able to help them with that being the case.

I love stories like this.

No, I havent. I have been playing WoW since WotLK came out, have only seen (well, NPCScan picked up) twice in those more than two years.

But then again, I have had some amazing luck with pets, I believe in my luck

my advice, is just sit ontop of the frozen lake, turn your speakers up, and go do something else in the house.

or if you're doing something else in the house, have this setup in the background to your Real-life.

It took me personally 11 Vyragosa kills till I finally found a TLPD

Update:

I see Skoll again. Not a single person to tame. Even logged in on my horde toon and asked people, they all said they either have him or dont have BM.

What do I do

Another Skoll bites the dust!

Okay so after thinking who I could give it to, i remembered my ex bf's hunter. She (his char is a she) was 81, and I had recently persuaded him into taming rares and camping mobs. So far he has been loving it. But, he's also at work atm, no acsess to WoW. Lucky me for knowing his password (we farm things for eachother) so I KNEW He has to have Skoll. I reopened WoW, while still camping on my acc incase someone walks by, and started entering his username and pw. And then bam, right when i cliked Login, the power went out. Maaaaan! Worst timing. It came back a min after, I did the same thing again, two boxes. His hunter was in SW, I had no time to take boats, so i got him a portal for 50g to Dala. I invited myself to a party, and started flying. JUST when I reached my priest, power goes off again! This time it was 20 mins

I thoguth no way am Igetting Skoll now. As soon as it came back on, I didnt even multi box, went straight to his hunter, and there he was. Alive.

Hope he loves it when he gets home. And im so glad Skoll stayed "in the family".
